Wings of Death

The darkness is drowning me
I feel trapped and I fight to be free
I can't breathe and I'm growing numb
I wish someone would hear my cry and just come.

All of a sudden I'm greeted by the blinding light
And then I see someone crying and holding me tight
I hear people who are screaming my name
And I hear my mother say "You are to blame!"

"What's going on?" I wonder. I was standing right there
And yet they didn't see me and didn't seem to care
Then the people moved and I saw a girl covered by blood
I soon realized I was that girl who was lying in the mud.

I never said goodbye to those who I love
I never said sorry to those who I hurt
I felt helpless looking down from above.

Suddenly a name came to my head: Susannah Simon

I had to find her and fast.
