Blank. Nothing. That's what's been going through Sasuke's head for the last few days. His eyes were blank, he looked half-dead, and he was paler than usual. This generally happens when your lover is going to be executed. Naruto Uzumaki is his best friend, rival, and most importantly his lover will soon be executed and all because of the civilian council. It all started when Naruto dragged Sasuke back to Konoha and they were both in terrible condition. When the council heard of Sasuke's condition they were furious and voted for an execution against "The monster who tried to kill the last Uchiha." So many people wanted it that not even Tsunade could stop it.
'Screw this,' Sasuke suddenly thought. He got up and ran towards Naruto's execution not caring about his appearance and in hopes of stopping it. When he got their all of Naruto's friends were crying and Tsunade had her head faced down. Then the Anbu's were there escorting Naruto to the stake and to his death. Naruto just looked straight ahead but when he past Sasuke he whispered something quietly to him so only he could hear. Then, he passed him and continued as if nothing had happened. Soon, he was at the stake and the execution began. The only emotion that was shown on Sasuke's face was the lone tear that fell, but through the whole execution he never looked away.
One Year Later
Everything after Nar- His execution was a blur. He visited his grave every day, sat there, and talked to him as if he was actually there. Today was going to be different then all the other days. Sasuke stared at the grave and remembered what he told him before he died.
Flashblack
Naruto was heading toward the stake and whispered to Sasuke as he passed next to him not even looking at him.
"I'll always love you, so please don't look away." He continued to walk as if nothing had been said.
Flashback Ends
Sasuke took out a kunai and in one swift moment slit both his wrists. He fell on Naruto's grave and smiled. He's finally going to see him again.
"I'll always love you too Naruto."
