Prologue
Arendelle at night—despite the fact that it's summer at this time, is cold.
On the center of the kingdom stood the magnificent castle of the royalties. Surrounded by the fjord, which is the main reason—despite the warm season, cool air still rule over the place, just as cold as the ruling queen, who, by this time, emerges from the balcony of her room.
Elsa is a lady of 17, with long platinum blonde hair, usually braided in one side—though right now she let it flow freely from her back. Her skin, though pale, still manages to glow in a way that makes her attractive.
She leans on the railing and rests her chin in the palm of her hand, gazing at her kingdom. Arendelle is so peaceful at night, bar the animals in the mountains across. Guards assigned to patrol around the kingdom can be seen roaming the streets with their lamp. Not that Arendelle is high in crime rate; it's the outsiders they have to look out for.
Feeling her lids grow heavier, Elsa decided to retire to her chamber and sleep for the night.
…
The winter spirit journeys to find the place where he sensed winter last July. Only, he wasn't the one who conjured the snow. It must be something, or someone, like him, and he knows that he must find and know the reason for the behavior of the weather in that place, on that time.
Wherever he goes, he brings snow with him. Though he knows he's defying the law of nature by bringing winter to places that shouldn't be expecting him at this time (but then again, he's one who doesn't abide any laws at all), he sped through places and knows that he's getting close, very close.
…
Outside Elsa's room, the moon shines bright, thus eliminating its beam inside the queen's room.
The queen doesn't always dream, as a grown up doesn't. But since she opened up to her sister and everyone, dreams often visit her now. Right now though, she knows this isn't a dream or a nightmare.
There's light, and it's getting brighter and brighter every passing second. Then a voice spoke, "He's coming." And then she woke up.
(A/N:) This is my first story here~ And I welcome criticisms and corrections so, feel free to leave a comment.
I know Elsa isn't originally 17, but I have my reasons for making her younger.
This story takes place after the Frozen Fever. And for your info; the time period of Frozen is set on July of 1839, which is why this story says, "he sensed winter last July." Where Elsa froze Arendelle in eternal winter.
