I was walking down the hall, heading to my next class. I had just passed Owen and Fitz they were talking about the new girl Jesse, apparently Owen had a little bit of a crush on her.
"Dude, I don't understand why you like her, she's ugly."
I instantly turned and faced Fitz.
"No, she's not ugly, she's beautiful. Just because you choose not to see the beauty in someone, doesn't make them ugly. You have no right to call a girl ugly. You have no idea how much that can hurt their self esteem. She has just as many feelings as you do. Just because someone can call you ugly and you take it as a joke, doesn't mean she can. She is beautiful in every way. If you believe that you the right to call a girl ugly, I'm sorry but you don't."
The I walked away leaving both of them shocked, I wasn't about to let him talk about any girl like that. Ever.
