It was four in the morning and Tifa had just closed down the Seventh Heaven for the night. Usually it closed earlier, but it was biker night and Jimmy paid extra to keep it open later. She quite enjoyed biker nights; everyone was so kind not to mention they kept most of the creeps out of the bar. She felt completely safe when she was there in the company of the guys. But now it was four a.m. and she was sweeping the streets of Midgar, alone. She didn't mind this at all, because she knew that soon enough she would be safe once more. Soon enough she would be in the warm arms of her protector. The protector that didn't send her mixed signals and the protector that didn't just leave when times got tough. She turned down a long dirt path, kicking a small pebble as she walked. "I hope I'm not going to be too late." She thought to herself, reaching into her pocket to pull out her cellphone. "Hmm, I'll only be a couple minutes late." Tifa shoved her phone back into her pocket and smiled. This was only the second week of their secret meetings, but she knew there would be many more. The smell of flowers and water filled the air as the brunette walked into the opening of a small park. A figure was sitting on a stone bench that faced the pond.

"You're late." The figure snickered, his back still facing her.

"Maybe you're just extra early." She joked.

He scooted over on the bench and looked back at her. "Join me?"

She walked over to the aged stone bench and sat down, feeling a warm arm wrap around her. It was nice to feel his warmth on her cold skin. She had forgotten her jacket at the bar, and before she realized she was already halfway to the park.

"Want my jacket?" He offered without her asking.

"No, I don't want you to be cold."

Before she could protest any further he draped his heavy jacket over her shoulders. "I'm trained to not be phased by the cold weather, don't worry about it."

She felt a smile play across her chapped lips. "Thanks Reno."

He gently stroked her pale pink cheeks. "No problem babe."

Her cheeks became tinged red; she wasn't used to being called babe at all. She actually liked it a little.

Reno stood up and offered her a hand. "You ready to get out of here and have some real fun?"

She looked up at him shocked, grabbing his hand to lift her up. "Get out of here? I thought that we were just going to hang out here like we always do."

"Not tonight, I thought we could make it a little more special. If ya know what I mean." He smiled slyly making Tifa blush a deep shade of red.

"Reno!" She tried hiding her face. "I'm not that type of girl."

"Oh come on babe," He whispered next to her ear "You know you want to."

Tifa punched his arm and started to walk away. "You're such a jerk!"

"Well fine if you don't want to play mini golf that's your problem." Reno laughed.

She turned around and walked back over to him. "Mini golf?" the confusion was obvious on her face. "I thought you meant that you wanted to have…." She trailed off.

"Oh you naughty naughty girl you." He smirked. He loved messing around with her like this, she always got so flustered.

Tifa punched him again once more. "Alright let's go."

"What was that for?" He asked holding onto his wounded arm.

"For getting me all angry." She huffed.

"I can't help it; you're so damn gullible sometimes." With that he grabbed her arm and began to walk out of the park.
