Nodoka watched through her window as the red haired boy she had come to love through the year struggled with an abnormally large stack of books in comparison to his height. School for the day had already ended almost an hour ago, and she had finished all the books that were in the room, so she was struck with the epidemic that is known as boredom.
"You should go talk to him." Yue said, appearing seemingly out of nowhere.
Not phased in the slightest by this (She was now used to it), Nodoka replied " I-I don't think I could..."
"Do you not like him?"
"No! I... I just think it wouldn't be a good idea..."
"Why?" While Nodoka was pondering this question, Yue proceeded to begin pushing Nodoka out of the door before she even had a chance to protest. "If you don't take action, nothing is ever going to get done. You should know that already. Or you do, you just don't want to be rejected. Either way, you need to go out there and talk to him."
"B-but I don't..."
Nodoka noticed that she was standing on grass, then realized that she was already in front of the dorms. She turned around quickly enough to watch Yue slam the door behind her, yelling " Just ask him if he needs help with those books."
Nodoka turned around, wishing she could just disappear on the spot. She figured that Yue would be watching from a window, and would let her back in as soon as the talked to him. Nodoka made the long trek to the steps where she had fallen off, and he had caught her. But this time it was he who was carrying the books down the steps. As she was making her way towards him, she noticed he began to start wobbling, then leaning a little over the side, and eventually completely toppling over. Nodoka broke into an all-out sprint that could put marathon runners to shame.
"Negi!" she called.
An instant before he hit the ground, Nodoka saw him grab that branch looking thing he always carried around with him and yell the words "Rastel Maskil Magister Spiritus Venti!" Just as she reached him, she noticed that he was suspended a few inches above the ground. He then stood up, brushing himself off, and held up what now was obviously a staff and muttered the words "Magi Magister Bri Gathame". All of the sudden, the books he was carrying arranged themselves neatly in his arms as if he had never fallen.

Watching with mouth agape, Nodoka stuttered "You... You're a w-wizard!"
Negi quickly turned around and said "You saw all of that?" with surprise clearly written on his face.
Meanwhile, on the outside Nodoka appeared nearly comatose, but on the inside a million thoughts were going through her head. The highlight of these thoughts being "Was that time he almost made a pactio with me... Real?".

Sorry about the pinprick of a story, but think of this more of a sample, and if anyone enjoys my writing and wants me to carry on just leave a review. Don't worry, it doesn't have to be lengthy at all, you could just put the word "Continue" and I would. This is my first time writing, so that's why I'm not sure wether or not I should continue, especially because I don't particularly enjoy writing, so it would be pointless to continue writing if no one wants me to. And PLEASE tell me if I have any grammatical or spelling errors, because I'm more like a grammar Hitler rather than just a Nazi. Oh, and if anyone enjoys my writing, I'll take requests to make fanfics for other characters and animes (Even if I haven't seen it, Ill watch it!) Now, to end this author's note, I salute all you bagel troops in the pastry war.
