Completely random story. Here's some food for thought!
Have you ever heard of the 20:20:60 worker ant ratio? It was scientifically proven that 20 percent of ants are lazy, another 20 percent is hardworking and the remaining is normal. In a world so harsh, Nezu Dohachiro wanted his students to understand what would happen if you were one of the lazy 20%.
He wanted to create an environment in which 5% of the class is lazy, whilst the rest were hard-working. Who else would fit the job…except the one who was known as Dame-Tsuna?
It was a frightening world. It was a world in which the strong stood over the weak. It was a dog-eat-dog world out there.
In the safe bubble of the school, children did not understand this. They did not know how painful it was out there, they did not know the concept of the dog-eat-dog world.
So he created a world similar to that of the outside in his classroom. If someone who was had bad grades was bullied, ostracized, or tormented, students would work harder to avoid it being them. In order to create a future where 95% of his students excelled…
It would be okay to sacrifice that 5%.
With the way modern education was going, less people would strive to excel. To create a future of successful adults, you had to start when they were young and impressionable.
He was still a teacher, no matter how you may protest. His job was to help their future adults succeed. He was simply doing what he felt could help the best way possible.
You could call him a bastard or an ass hole. But he wanted to ask you…
Is there really any other better way?
