Waiting For A Hero
(Epic Poem)
Hundreds of years go by, yet the legends never fail
Of one boy who saved a land filled with epic tales
His destiny was revealed and his fate was sealed
Destroying the evil the leader had reeled,
But, yet again, one day, foul winds fall
Yet no boy came to save the land at all.
Years go by, and the land's fate is chosen.
No boy, no hero has ever since rosen.
No human to tell the tale of the cursed land under the seas.
Centuries go by, like it had been said
Until the evil begins to appear again
Revealing its destruction and leaving nothing but dread
For those who lay waiting to be saved, but when?
Hope everybody liked this poem. It was supposed to be for school. I need to write six different poems for school, and I've written three so far, I'm going to post. One is GREEN, Waiting For One Hero, and Life on The Sea. Tell me what ya' think.
