Summary: Tamaki asks a hypothetical question. Kyoya replies. TamakiKyoya
--
"What would you do if I said I was in love with you?"
Kyoya raised his eyes from the pages of his new book to get a look at the blond boy under his charge. Tamaki was busying himself with remedial house chores such as organizing picture frames on the night stand. His body language would have never suggested he'd just asked a question.
"I'd first ask you to repeat yourself then give you the stock best friend response of 'I think we should just be friends.' Finally I would fix you a cup of milk tea to help soothe the pain of rejection."
The blond boy's blue eyes narrowed and pointed in the general direction of the dark haired teen. He sat one final picture in just the right spot before walking over to the bed. He boarded and slowly crawled closer to the form of Kyoya. Long fingers fell along the book's spin, lowering it gently. He would make him pay attention.
The other man remained stoic as soft finger tips traced his cheekbones up to his glasses. Tamaki removed them and, as if in slow motion, leaned his face forward. Their lips touched ever so slightly and Kyoya chuckled softly from the tickle of the contact. Tamaki pulled back with a smile.
"You liar," he said as he flicked his best friend's forehead. "I never did get my milk tea."
