It was just after fifth year, on the Hogwarts Express, when it happened. When they happened, when they began, when everything began. When they also ended, when everything else ended too.

Sirius will deny his feelings to anybody and everybody until the day he dies. He says he just can't find a nice girl to settle down with, so he settled down with a best friend instead.

Remus knows that isn't true.

Remus also knows that it's not true when Sirius 'forgets' to put the milk back in the fridge, he just thinks that Remus is sexy when he's angry, which is never his true anger. Remus isn't ever angry, it would scare people if they saw him in that state. So, he rants and raves over little things, and acts. Acts until the day he dies.

What Remus doesn't know is that Sirius doesn't find him sexy angry, he just likes Remus to think that because he's seen Remus actually angry, and he doesn't want to hurt his feelings. Which is kind of sad, because Sirius is scared of Remus when he's angry, but he puts up a good face, Moony can't tell when he's showing Sirius too much of his true face, without the emotional mask.

Both think they know things that the other doesn't, that they see habbits in the other. Which is definitely sad, because all of the emotions and habbits are acts. Both are too thick to realise that they don't know the other quite as well as they think, and neither are willing to accept the fact that they do realise. They always have. They always do.

It's an unspoken rule between the two: never show your true emotions. It's so that neither can get hurt, they are both so fragile (though only Remus ever admits it), they are both so scared, nervous and suspicious. They think that one day the other part of their duo will leave, and they won't know what to do with themselves anymore.

It's Sirius, in the end, that leaves. It's unwillingly of course, but the fact still remains that he left Remus, all alone, with nothing to do, and no one to support him. They were going to be happy, together forever, never apart, stuck like glue. What happened? Hadn't Sirius promised?

It was just after fifth year, on the Hogwarts Express, when it happened. When they began the beginning to their demise. When they sought comfort. When they relished in desire.

When they shared their first kiss.

When they fell in love.

:D Oh lawd! This turned out waaaaay better than I had expected it to! I really hope you enjoyed. I don't own Harry Potter. Wish I did. Sad, yes. But I don't. If I did though, I'd probably end up re-writing half the series so that no one dies. Which would be crappy. So it's lucky I don't own it I guess. :P

So, here's my first one for the Things That Happen in Trains collection, containing many a pairing. Next one will be out in about a week. :D BYE!
