Good searched the cupboard, brushing aside the objects in the front and bright eyes searching that which was farther back. He felt like something sweet. Wasn't sure why, he just needed a snack. Preferably something...ah.
Good was just about to grab a cupcake when suddenly his hand pulled away, shutting the cupboard's door.
"Ah, common Bad I just found the thing! Besides, you know your not supposed to take control without asking I wasn't ready."
Bad ignored him of course, leaving the kitchen all together.
"Look lady, I do not have time for - sure!"
Good looked over the lady's shoulder, watching as she took out a bunch of cat pictures and began to list them off. "This is Fluffy, Jasmine my little princess, Angie, Loki the little mischief maker, Fluffy Junior - son of Fluffy of course, Jeff, got him from this nice boy who lives nearby, can't remember his name for the life of me..."
Bad fumed inside their head. He kept yelling about how they didn't have time for this they had in investigation to do but Good just tuned him out, nodding his head and smiling brightly as the nice cat lady told them all about her pets.
Good smiled, pulling his gun away. "Oh, that's good buddy."
It wasn't just his words, it was the way his eyes flickered to the gun, the way he gulped and how his hands shook. The sweat on his brow and the constriction of his pupils. He was generally terrified for his life, so Good knew he didn't have to use force.
He still made a show of putting his gun away, leaning in closely and humming under his breath, wide smile and half lidded eyes. He was watching him for every reaction, playing him like a harp. He was deep in his mind game, so deep-
-he didn't realize Bad had pushed for the switch.
Bad yanked the gun foreword, hitting the man across the brow. He wasted no time jamming the barrel under the man's chin, glaring at him behind his aviators. "Now," he growled, leaning even closer to the others face, so close he could probably see Bad's eyes, "Your gonna tell me exactly what I wanna hear. Capish?"
"Ah for fucks sake Bad! I was taking care of it! Right there! Just now! Why'd ya have to go and do that too me buddy?"
"Of course sir."
"No, I don't want to..."
"You have to."
"I don't want to!"
"Would you please be quite!"
"I can't-"
"You must."
"But they-"
"Shut it."
"Its not nice-"
"Its your job man!"
"I can't do it! They're innocent!"
Good lifted a hand to his face as the spaceship blasted off, creating a hole in the wall. As the building resettled some beams fell to form a X over the hole.
He spun around, facing the building as more robots pounded on the door, getting ready to fight.
"...Bad?"
"Yes?"
"Could-um, could you take over for a bit? I'm just a tad tired..."
A moment of pause, and then he felt the switch, falling back to their mind.
"Sure buddy."
"Thanks."
