That's Just How It Is
Kurt wasn't really paying any attention to what Blaine was saying. He was watching Sam and Mercedes as they walked up to the counter. From where he was sitting it looked like they were holding hands and the way they were acting just a few minutes ago made it even more obvious that they probably were.
"Hey, Kurt," Blaine interrupted Kurt's thoughts.
"Hmm?" Kurt answered back.
"I was telling you the nominees for the songs that I'm trying to pick from for my audition tomorrow."
"Sorry. I was just thinking. Did you notice anything different about how Sam and Mercedes were acting around each other?"
"Not really. They were acting kind of weird but I didn't notice anything. But as I was saying the nominees are Can't Stand It by Never Shout Never, Good Life by OneRepublic, and Tonight Tonight by Hot Chelle Rae."
"What, no Broadway musicals?"
"You no that's not me as much that it is you," and their conversations just grew from there and they eventually went home.
