Hell Hath No Fury

They say that Hell hath no fury greater than a woman scorned.

They were wrong.

Women look like angels compared to vengeful kunoichi.

Hyuuga Neji looks like a sissy next to an enraged Tenten.

Gai could only wonder what the youth had done to provoke such a terrible ire within his team mate.

"I can't believe you'd do such a thing!" She said, punching him between each word. She didn't even give him the opportunity to retaliate with his Jyuuken style moves.

"It was so completely wrong of you I can't even comprehend why you even thought of it in the first place!"

"I told you!" Neji said, running away from her, "I'm sorry!"

"Sorry is not good enough, Hyuuga!" Tenten screeched. She whipped out a pair of katana. "You will pay for what you did!"

"I already did!" Neji yelled back at her.

"You did not!" Tenten said. "You drew on my face while I was sleeping!"

"I was drunk!" Neji protested.

"So was I!" Tenten screamed back. "That's not an excuse! And if that's not bad enough…" Tenten threw a kunai at his arm, cutting the seam that held his sleeve on. "You posted the stupid picture around the village!"

"Like I said, I was drunk!" Neji yelled desperately.

"Maybe you didn't hear me the first time- that's not a valid excuse!"

People also say that revenge is a dish served cold. They're also wrong. Tenten likes things with chilli. Lots of chilli.

They ran through the streets of Konoha, the blades whipping through the air, always nicking Neji's skin and even (he cried out when he realised) his locks of hair.

They began to run up a hill, and Neji turned around the old fashioned way to check if Tenten was still there. She was. The kunoichi had a scary smile on her face and she threw six senbon needles at him as they ran, and jumped back.

The Hyuuga suddenly tripped as he fell over his pants… and rolled down the other side of the steep hill…

Into the crowd of fan girls.

Without his pants on.

That afternoon, the streets of Konoha rang with his high pitched screams of terror.

From her perch in her tree, Tenten watched with satisfaction, a smirk on her face.

Hell hath no fury, indeed.
