PROLOUGE:
She was mad…no she was furious this was the first time she couldn't put someone in jail for murder and that made her feel well…furious.
She watched as Manuel Rodriguez was let go. Rodriguez was a tall man, with black hair and blue eyes. She stared at those eyes for a long time trying to break him down. The problem with powerful men is that they don't break easily.
When she stared at his eyes they were cold, icy, the eyes of a killer, the eyes of someone who just doesn't give a fuck. She couldn't believe it the son of a bitch killed four people and she had no way to prove it.
Diana Venetti silently shook her head this was wrong and she knew it, hell everyone probably knew it… he was doing it again staring at her. That was another thing that made her mad he wouldn't stop staring at her. She knew by the time he'll leave they'll exchange words after all they always did.
Always, always, always that word was starting to make her mad. He always killed four or more people. He always kept coming back. She always got the case cause she was used to him, and she always didn't have any proof. Yes, that word was defiantly making her mad.
Mad another thing that always popped up whenever she was around her Rodriguez made her skin crawl. Diana couldn't stand him but she could tell that he liked their little game. The smirk on his face at the moment kept proving her point.
Diana watched as the handcuffs were taken off of him and his smirk got bigger by the moment. She heard him mutter a small 'thank you' as he went walking out the door toward her.
He reached her and stopped right in front of her. Diana met his eyes and wasn't surprised to see his icy blue eyes filled with humor. He won again that's all he's been doing is winning while she just kept on losing because well she had to admit it the bastard was good.
"See you later…Diana," he said quietly so only she can hear it.
I just glared at him and watched him walk away…the sad part was that I knew I will see him later. If not in here than somewhere else whenever it'll be she knew he would kill again after all he always did.
