Hey guys another new story I hope you all like it but I will be posting a frequently as I can my schedule and life has gone bonkers and I hope it will settle down soon. I hope you enjoy this new story and please review constructive criticism welcome. Thanks now let the new story commence.
Chapter 1
Arthur was in his room staring out his window thinking about how alone he felt even with all his friends around him. Arthur was an Omega and his father had been an Alpha. Uther had always told Arthur that he was never going to find anyone and that he would live his life alone. He had also told Arthur that Arthur was a huge disappointment to him because he was not an Alpha like a king should be.
Arthur heard the door to his chambers open from the scent alone he knew it was his best friend, ex-manservant, and new court sorcerer Merlin who had just come in. He was the only one Arthur had seen for two days now.
"Arthur, this needs to end. I know something has been bothering you and you haven't told anyone not even me. Everyone is worried about you, me especially. Please talk to me tell me what is going on. You can tell me anything." Merlin implored Arthur to talk to him. Arthur knew he needed to talk to someone or he would die of depression which is where he was headed.
"I feel so alone. I know I have you and the knights even Gwen and Morgana. Despite that I still feel more alone than ever. I'm starting to think that maybe my father was right maybe I am meant to live my life alone. But everyone else let's me get on with it, but you are always there for me since the day I met you. What I don't understand is whenever I am around you I feel a pull to you that should be impossible because you are a beta but I feel a pull to you anyway. I care about you a great deal you are the only person who truly understands me in ways no one else can." Arthur paused a small sad smile playing on his lips as he continued "Sometimes I wish that you were an alpha and that you were mine, then I wouldn't feel so alone but then I realize that you can't change who you are. That is what is wrong, that is why I am so depressed." Arthur finished his explanation but part of what he said had Merlin thinking and also hoping that maybe he could reveal his other secret to Arthur and would not have to give him up. It would help Arthur as well if his theory was correct but he would not do it here, no they needed somewhere alone where no one could disturb them.
"Arthur you need a break, you just need some time away. How about you and I go out to the forest for a few days and little hunting trip. Morgana can take care of things here while we are gone. Who knows maybe you might accidently find the one you're looking for." Merlin hoped Arthur would take the bait.
"I think a little time away might be worth it would sure help. But I don't think I find anyone out there. Thank you Merlin." "Who knows Arthur stranger things have happened. I'll get the horses ready and take care of everything meet me in the courtyard in a half hour." Merlin replied and Arthur just nodded.
With that Merlin left to get everything ready, talk to Morgana about running things for two days, but most of all he needed to talk to Gaius he needed to know a few things before he could go on with his full plan.
