Thanks to my beloved Kya who proofread this 3 Thank you, honey.

Also, just finished the sixth season and I can't help but writing this. Poor my Spence.

SOMEHOW I GOT CAUGHT UP IN BETWEEN

They won't let you see her.

You imagine that she has to be pretty beaten up, and that's why, but who cares? Surely you don't, 'cause it's Emily, she's a friend of yours, and you want so desperately to say goodbye, but they won't let you. They always make you feel like you're a child, but you're not anymore, and you just want so bad to see her.

"Spence," Jennifer says, like she's asking you to understand, but all you can understand is that they won't let you see her, and you've still got the tickets for Solaris on your table, at home, 'cause you were hoping that you and Emily could go and watch it, once this madness had ended, but now she can't come with you, she won't anymore, and you feel just helpless, here in the visitors lounge, and you just want to crawl in a hidden corner and mourn for her, maybe cry. But then JJ hugs you, and you can't escape.

You just want to see her. Why won't they let you in?

You see her on the wall, but it's not the same thing.

In this photo, Emily's not smiling, and you know that she doesn't- didn't like at all to pose, so it isn't her, so it is not the same thing, oh, definitely not.

"We all miss you, Emily," you manage to say, before running into the conference room for the new case and Seaver's graduation, trying to hide from Morgan that your eyes are a bit shinier than they were before.
