Hi guys and girls. This is a Sanibus one shot. First time I have ever written a Sanibus fic. Don't flame me, please.

Sadie's POV

Nothing is sadder than being single on Valentine's Day. NOTHING. Well the problem was, well, I was single. I was sitting in the hall of the Brooklyn house. Watching….stupid…but so lovely romance movies. Everyone was out. Even Carter. Now I didn't even have a brother to annoy. And I was sitting on my ass eating whipped cream with a hanky in my hand. I was watching serendipity when I heard a knock on the door. I paused the disk and went to the door. As I opened it and saw that no one was there.

"Stupid kids" I muttered and closed the door. I went back to the couch and sat down. I continued playing the movie.

"Hello." Came a whisper from behind me. I turned around and with the same force I sent a fireball flying in the direction of the whisper.

"HEY, it's just me, Anibus." Anibus shouted

"I swear. I am going to kick you in your jackal ass the next time you sneak up on me."

"Lord Orisis says to watch the words, Miss Kane."

"What in the world do you want, jackal boy. Don't you have someone to take out on Valentine's Day?" I secretly wished that he would say no.

"What in duat is valentine's day?" he asked. Great. Single on Valentine's Day, my hard to get crush standing before me, looking hot (as always, no doubt there.) and now I find out that the guy I have feelings for doesn't know what Valentine's Day. Great, on my list of most disappointing days this got the second prize.

"Look jackal boy, I am watching this movie. If you're not on secret surveillance duty sent by my dad, you are welcome to sit and watch."

"No I am here by myself. Would you mind playing the movie from the beginning." I didn't mind. Well who would, serendipity is the greatest rom- com ever made. If any of you say otherwise I am telling my dad to take your soul.

"That is impossible." He muttered when both the lead actors get into different elevators and press the button for the same floor.

"Would you shut up? I hate it when people talk during movies." I snapped.

"Sorry." He whispered. And he was. He didn't even utter a word throughout the film. When the credits started rolling I muted the sound.

"So what do you think?" I asked him.

He was staring at the screen. "Is that possible?" he whispered, more to himself

"Like us." I muttered and smiled sadly to myself.

"I heard that miss Kane" he said as he stood up. "It depends on whether…" he pulled out a rose from his pocket.

"…you will be my valentine?"He asked me. I felt as if I was flying soaring above the clouds

"always." I whispered. I got up and hugged him tight. He lifted me of the ground. And we kissed.

I know that Valentine's Day is over but this was the perfect setting for this fanfic. This is dedicated to Sanubis-Is-Forever for being patient enough to not kill me because I couldn't upload this story sooner. No but seriously thank you for writing me the Zarter fanfic. I promised her I would upload it tomorrow but a day before is not bad I guess. HAPPY READIND!
