It was a bright & warm sunny Monday morning. As usual everyone was just beginning their day. At Adventure Bay Elementary school had just started & everyone was in their 1ST class. In Miss Spearwood's Homeroom class all the kids were seated at their desks ready to begin the lesson. It seemed as if it would be another ordinary day for them all. Before anything happened, Miss Spearwood addressed the class.
"Good morning everyone. Before today's lesson begins we have a special guest student who'll be joining us this week. I'm sure she'd be happy to tell you a bit about herself" said Miss Spearwood as a girl with tanned skin, blonde hair & brown eyes wearing an expensive pair of designer sunglasses, an expensive white sleeveless top & white skirt adorned with sparkly confetti, expensive black stiletto heels & a golden handbag on her shoulder walked to the front of her glass. She had an expression on her face that seemed to show discomfort or disinterest as to where she was. Immediately everyone started to get a somewhat negative 1ST impression of her. They had a feeling she wasn't about to make friends very easily. As soon as she stood in front of everyone she rested her sunglasses on her forehead & glared at everyone in class while her mouth remained in resting position. Her cold demeanour quickly made everyone feel uneasy.
"I'm Lindsay Remington aka the most important popstar of our generation. If you didn't already know that then you're stupid. The only reason I'm at this crummy school is because me & Elias Vincent have a contract agreement to work together on a few things. Except for Elias none of you are to talk to me. I refuse to consider myself friends with a bunch of commoner peasants. I have no problem giving you hell if you get in my way. This isn't Los Angeles & I'm not your friend. Unless you want an autograph or a selfie I want nothing to do with you. That's all" said Lindsay as she sat at her desk with the same cold demeanour she demonstrated while addressing everyone. Almost immediately everyone in class was put off by Lindsay's blunt statement. Most of them knew who she was & that she had a good career in the music industry, but she had a reputation for being extremely blunt & was considered a pop diva because of her elitist attitude. Elias had been initially excited to work with her on their collaborative efforts, but he was starting to feel a bit put off by Lindsay's attitude.
"I really hope Lindsay isn't going to be difficult to work with. Unfortunately, it seems that'll likely be the case considering what she just said. I'll do my best to be patient with her but I'm not going to have any problems letting her know how I feel if she takes it too far. I don't want to have this experience ruined by any negative antics. Suppose only time will tell how things go" thought Elias as he opened his notebook & began copying down what Miss Spearwood was writing on the board. While most kids were on task & doing their work, Lindsay grabbed all sorts of cosmetics out of her handbag & started applying eyeliner, lipstick, facial toner & more. If there was anything she valued, it was her appearance. She always wanted to look her best regardless of where she was. After she finished putting on her makeup she began doing her work.
"These peasants better worship me as the supreme pop goddess I am. If they're smart they'll know that I'll always be better than them & that they'll never reach my level of fame & fortune. The last thing they'd want is for me to get in their faces & literally scream in their faces until they go deaf. I'm not going to be disrespected by anyone here. The sooner I can get my collaboration work with Elias done the better. It's only been a few hours & I already hate this place. Once I'm back in Los Angeles I'll never have to worry about this peasant town ever again" thought Lindsay as she copied down what was written on the board. Los Angeles was the only place in the world she truly liked to be as it was where she lived with her parents. Her father was a high-level record producer & her mother was a socialite who was well known amongst the Hollywood inner circle. Lindsay was signed to her father's label Remington Records. She was 1 of the most well-known recording artists in the label & she was highly sought after by many sponsors. Despite this she had almost no real friends because of how narcissistic & vain she was. She didn't care what anyone thought of her & had no problem telling people what she really thought of them. Any "generous" or "nice" things she did were all to make her look good & uphold her reputation. Throughout the lesson everyone did their work. Very little was said & the mood was mostly peaceful. Although everyone still had a bad impression of Lindsay they didn't think much of it & concluded that she was just being over the top. Soon class finished & everyone headed to their lockers to grab their stuff for 2ND period. As Angel, Elias & Kelly walked through the halls they discussed what they expected from Lindsay over the course of the coming week.
"I've already got a negative opinion of Lindsay. She comes across as the type of person who's in love with herself & couldn't care less about anyone else. It's going to be a long week if this is how she'll act" said Angel as she sneered.
"I don't think she's going to fit in well if she brushes everyone off. The fact that she thinks almost everyone in school is a commoner peasant disgusts me. I guess that's why she's called a pop diva" said Elias as he sighed in disappointment. His excitement over collaborating with Lindsay was quickly fading away.
"All I hope for is that she doesn't start expecting us to treat her like royalty. I'm not going to obey her every command if she starts getting too big for her britches. I'm not her slave & she's not the boss of me" said Kelly as she scoffed. The thought of Lindsay treating everyone like servants was enough to make her blood boil. Kelly despised people who acted like that. It was a trait that she found annoying & unnecessary. Soon Angel, Elias & Kelly reached their lockers & grabbed their stuff for 2ND period. Just before they headed to class they heard what sounded like an argument erupting nearby.
"What's going on?" asked Angel as she tilted her head in confusion.
"I don't know. It sounds bad" said Elias as a look of concern appeared on his face.
"Let's go check it out" said Kelly as Angel, Elias & herself headed in the direction of the commotion. They soon came across Lindsay & Mayabella arguing with each other as numerous other students crowded around them with some of them recording the incident on their phones. It turned out that Mayabella had accidentally walked into Lindsay while turning a corner causing Lindsay to fall to the ground. This sent Lindsay into a fiery rage that left Mayabella shaking in fear on the verge of tears.
"HOW DARE YOU GET IN MY WAY YOU LITTLE PEASANT. WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING" yelled Lindsay at the top of her lungs. Mayabella continued to shake as she tried to respond.
"I… Didn't mean to… I'm sorry… It was an accident" stammered Mayabella in a timid voice as she began to tear up.
"IT'S NOT THAT HARD TO PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SURROUNDINGS. ARE YOU THAT STUPID TO NOT NOTICE ME COMING? YOU'RE SUCH AN INCONSIDERATE BRAT" yelled Lindsay as she got in Mayabella's face. Mayabella began to cry. She felt like she was being subjected to unnecessary verbal abuse for such a trivial matter. Everyone watched in shock as the situation continued to escalate. They all felt angry at Lindsay's behaviour & sympathy for Mayabella.
"Please stop. It won't happen again. I promise" said Mayabella as tears ran down her face. She was terrified at seeing Lindsay's face filled with such anger & fury.
"IT BETTER NOT. OTHERWISE YOU'LL BE IN A LOT OF TROUBLE. I WON'T BE HUMILIATED IN A PEASANT SCHOOL" yelled Lindsay as she grabbed her handbag & stormed off seething with intense anger. Mayabella dropped to her knees & cried hysterically. She never expected Lindsay to be so mean over being accidentally bumped into. While most of the kids in the crowd headed to class discussing the incident amongst themselves Angel, Elias & Kelly went over to Mayabella to make sure she was OK.
"Are you OK Mayabella?" asked Angel in a soft voice as she nuzzled Mayabella.
"I don't know. It all happened so fast. I was walking to class minding my own business & then suddenly I accidentally bumped into Lindsay & she lashed out. I didn't mean to bump into her. It was an accident" said Mayabella as she continued to cry. Elias gave her a hug & patted her on the back to calm her down. Seeing his friend feeling so hurt over an argument that stemmed from such a minor incident made him feel bad. He didn't like seeing his friends sad & always did his best to cheer them up when they felt down.
"Don't worry about it Mayabella. Lindsay overreacted. It's not your fault. I'll talk to Lindsay later once she's calmed down. Hopefully she'll apologise" said Elias in a reassuring voice as he continued to comfort Mayabella. He wiped away the tears on her face & gave her a sympathetic smile. This made Mayabella feel a bit better.
"Thanks Elias. You're such a good friend" said Mayabella as she gave Elias a smile of gratitude. She was happy that he cared deeply for her & that he was doing his best to make her feel better.
"If Lindsay does that again I'll punch her in the face. She has no right to go around treating people so poorly. I'll make her wish she never crossed us" said Kelly as she growled in anger while clenching her fists. She was appalled at how rude Lindsay had been & wanted nothing more than for Lindsay to apologise.
"I don't understand why she lashed out like that. There was no reason for her to get so angry" said Mayabella in a confused voice.
"I bet she's the kind of person who snaps at the slightest inconvenience. If this is how she acts in public I dread to think what she's like in the studio. This next week isn't going to be easy. Anyways we better get to class before we get in trouble. We're already late" said Elias as he helped Mayabella to her feet. Angel, himself & Kelly walked Mayabella to class before they went to their own classes. Once Elias arrived at Maths Miss Spearwood inquired about why he was late.
"How come you're late Elias?" asked Miss Spearwood in a curious voice.
"Lindsay & Mayabella got into an argument during class changes. Mayabella accidentally walked into Lindsay & Lindsay lashed out & yelled at Mayabella to the point she broke down in tears. Angel, myself & Kelly were making sure Mayabella was OK" said Elias.
Miss Spearwood appeared shocked by what she had been told. Hearing that Lindsay had lashed out over a trivial matter made her feel bad for Mayabella. The wellbeing of the students was 1 of Miss Spearwood's main priority & it was upsetting to hear that something had gotten out of hand.
"Is Mayabella OK?" asked Miss Spearwood as she looked at Elias with concern.
"I think so. We managed to calm her down & walk her to class. I'm going to make sure the issue is resolved" said Elias.
"I'm glad to hear that. Please take your seat so that the lesson can continue" said Miss Spearwood.
Elias went to his desk & sat down before beginning to work on the maths equations that had been written on the board. As he did his best to focus on his work he couldn't help but think about the altercation in the hallways. He was determined to make sure Lindsay apologised.
"The 1ST chance I get I'm going to make sure Lindsay apologises to Mayabella for the way she treated her. Lindsay's reaction was completely uncalled for & there was no justification for her to be so cruel. I'm beginning to wonder if collaborating with her is a good idea. I don't care how talented she is. Nothing makes me angrier than anyone mistreating me, my family & my friends. If she doesn't get her act together I'll pull the plug on our collaboration. She needs to keep her temper under control" thought Elias as he continued working on the maths equations. Throughout the whole class it was impossible not to think about Lindsay's bad behaviour. Once the bell rang to signal the beginning of recess everyone headed out to the playground & ran around playing in their social groups. Elias & Kelly played on the swingset as they discussed the altercation during class changes.
"I can't believe how overdramatic Lindsay was over Mayabella accidentally walking into her. She obviously has serious anger issues" said Elias as he swung forwards.
"I'll say. I haven't even had a direct interaction with her & already I hate her. I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up punching her lights out" said Kelly as she swung backwards.
"If this is how she acts in public I bet she's just as bad if not worse in the studio" said Elias as he swung backwards.
"I hope not. I'd hate for you to put up with that kind of behaviour. Anyways has she apologised to Mayabella yet?" asked Kelly as she swung backwards.
"Not yet. When I see her, I'll talk to her about it" said Elias.
"I'll knock her out if she doesn't" said Kelly.
As Elias & Kelly continued to swing Lindsay soon walked past. Elias immediately took the opportunity & hopped off the swing before going over to Lindsay.
"Hi Lindsay. Can we talk in private?" asked Elias in a polite voice.
"That's fine with me" said Lindsay as she put her phone in her handbag. Elias & her then went into the hallway to talk.
"OK I think we need to talk about what happened earlier with Mayabella. She was really upset that you screamed in her face because she accidentally bumped into you. I think it's best if you apologise to her for your outburst" said Elias as he got straight to the point. Lindsay was taken aback by what Elias said. She didn't think she was wrong in that situation.
"Why do I have to apologise? She's the 1 who walked into me. If anything, she needs to apologise to me" said Lindsay as she got defensive. Elias was undeterred & looked Lindsay straight in the eyes making sure she knew he was serious.
"You overreacted. Yelling in her face & bringing her to tears was uncalled for. Even if she didn't watch where she was going she didn't walk into you on purpose. It was an accident. Just apologise to her. Once you do both of you can move on" said Elias in a serious tone. Lindsay scoffed & rolled her eyes. She became angry at the fact that she was being confronted about what had happened.
"This is ridiculous. This conversation is over. I don't want to hear about what happened. I didn't do anything wrong. It's all Mayabella's fault" said Lindsay as she stormed off in anger. Elias groaned in frustration as he headed back to the playground. Lindsay's stubbornness & refusal to take responsibility for her actions was incredibly irritating.
"I can't believe how much denial Lindsay is in. The fact that she has the nerve to blame Mayabella for a minor inconvenience is a joke. In the end Lindsay's only making things harder on herself. Sooner or later she'll realise her mistake & will be begging for forgiveness. She's acting like a fool & all it's doing is making her look like a brat. She has nobody to blame but herself" thought Elias as he returned to the playground frustrated with Lindsay's behaviour. Kelly knew the talk with Lindsay didn't go well the moment she saw Elias' face.
"Lindsay's not giving in, is she?" asked Kelly.
"No. She thinks Mayabella should apologise to her. I can't believe how stubborn she is" said Elias as he sighed in frustration. Kelly rolled her eyes as she thought about how much she despised Lindsay.
"I don't care how rich or famous Lindsay is. She has no right to come to our school acting entitled to royal treatment & mistreating anyone who inconveniences her in any way. It won't be long before I give her a piece of my mind" thought Kelly as Elias & herself continued to play together. Throughout the next 2 periods all Elias could think of was how to get Lindsay to apologise.
"There has to be some way to make Lindsay apologise. I won't let her walk around acting like she's so high & mighty. Mayabella's my friend & I'm going to stick up for her no matter what. If Lindsay treats the others in a poor manner, I'll stick up for them as well. I refuse to let some delusional diva go around being disrespectful & rude. She's heading for serious trouble" thought Elias as he did his best to complete his schoolwork. It was a bit difficult to focus when he was trying to think of ways to set Lindsay straight at the same time but nonetheless Elias was able to get through his schoolwork without any major issues. Soon lunch time rolled around. As Elias walked to the cafeteria he overheard conversations from other students that Lindsay had been misbehaving in class & was disrespectful to everyone because of her vanity. Elias rolled his eyes knowing that Lindsay was still unrepentant. Once he got to the cafeteria he lined up & paid for his lunch before going over to sit with his friends.
"Hey guys. Are you feeling better now Mayabella?" asked Elias in a sympathetic tone.
"Yes. I'm still waiting for an apology from Lindsay. She hasn't tried to apologise yet" said Mayabella as she sighed in sadness. Elias nervously gulped as he prepared to tell Mayabella what Lindsay said during recess.
"I tried talking to her about it at recess, but she got defensive & insisted that you apologise to her. She's too stubborn to admit responsibility for her actions" said Elias.
"I say we go over to her & get an apology from her. That'll work" said Kelly as she looked around the cafeteria. She soon spotted Lindsay sitting at a table by herself eating a gourmet filet mignon.
"She's over there. I'd like to spit in her food & give her a taste of her own medicine" said Kelly as she growled in anger. Her fists were clenched & slightly shaking which indicated her anger towards Lindsay.
"Let's not make things worse. After we finish eating we'll go over & try to get an apology from Lindsay without resorting to aggression or violence" said Elias as he tried to prevent Kelly from lashing out. He knew that she was fed up with Lindsay as much as he was, but he was trying to avoid making things worse. After everyone finished eating their sausage rolls, pineapple slices, iced tea & rice pudding they walked over to where Lindsay was sitting. Lindsay continued to eat her filet mignon while thinking about how the food everyone ate was "revolting".
"These commoner peasants eat such disgusting food. I can't believe how gross they are eating that slop. It's a good thing I have a refined taste in good food. I'd never eat the junk these peasants eat" thought Lindsay as she continued to eat her filet mignon. When she noticed Elias & his friends standing in front of her she became annoyed.
"If you're here to get an apology you can cram it up your ass. It's not happening" said Lindsay as she glared harshly at everyone.
"I'm not apologising for what happened. It was an accident & you overreacted. Don't be such a brat" said Mayabella as she glared back at Lindsay. Lindsay felt offended by what Mayabella had said. She hated being called a brat.
"How dare you insult me like this. I am a pop goddess. You need to show some respect" said Lindsay with attitude in her tone.
"Shut up you spoilt princess. Apologise or else" said Kelly as she angrily glared at Lindsay. Lindsay just scoffed & smirked.
"Make me" said Lindsay as she smugly smirked at Kelly. Kelly snapped & proceeded to spit in Lindsay's filet mignon. Lindsay gasped in horror as Kelly smirked at her.
"Eat it" said Kelly as she chuckled. Lindsay furiously stood up & screamed which caused everyone to turn their heads & stare. They all watched as Lindsay screamed in anger at what Kelly did to her food.
"HOW DARE YOU DEFILE MY FOOD. YOU'RE A STUPID PEASANT" yelled Lindsay as he jumped up & down with intense anger. Kelly then grabbed the filet mignon & dumped it on Lindsay staining her clothes. Lindsay screamed again when she saw how dirty her clothes were.
"I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS. I'LL RUIN YOU" yelled Lindsay as she furiously stormed out of the cafeteria & headed to the restrooms to wash herself off. Everyone laughed at her as she left.
"She deserved that. Nothing is more satisfying than giving jerks like her exactly what they deserve" said Kelly as she smiled in satisfaction at humiliating Lindsay.
"If she's not going to apologise I suppose giving her a taste of her own medicine is the best way to sort out the problem" said Mayabella as she chuckled. Elias gulped nervously. He knew that Lindsay would likely retaliate in an extreme way.
"It's going to be all out war soon if things keep going like this. I haven't even started working on my collaborations with Lindsay & already she's public enemy #1. This is going to be a very difficult week to get through" thought Elias as he & the others went back to their table. Soon last period came around. Throughout the rest of the school day Elias desperately tried to think of how to prevent tensions from boiling over & causing a catastrophe.
"Things aren't looking good right now. At this rate Kelly & Lindsay are more than likely going to end up in a huge fight if they don't stop this behaviour. The last thing we need is for things to get ugly over personal issues. While I don't condone Kelly's behaviour I still think Lindsay's only making things worse not only for us but for herself as well. I dread to think what could possibly happen next" thought Elias as he tried to get his schoolwork done. His focus was once again split between his schoolwork & the tension between Lindsay & everyone else. Soon the bell rang to indicate the end of the school day. All the kids put their stuff away before heading home. As Angel, Elias & Kelly headed to the Lookout they discussed how to deal with Lindsay.
"I really don't know how we can keep Lindsay's behaviour under control. She's way too stubborn & thinks she's never wrong about anything" said Angel in a frustrated voice.
"It's not going to be easy dealing with her, but I know we can handle it as long as we keep our composure & take the right approach" said Elias.
"I don't have any regrets over what I did at lunch. Lindsay deserved it for being such a brat. Maybe now she'll think twice about the people she upsets" said Kelly as she clenched her fists. She didn't care if Lindsay retaliated. It'd only give her more of a reason to fight back.
"Let's not go too far with anything. The last thing we need is for a brawl to break out between you 2. Lindsay might be difficult to handle but I know we can weather the storm & sort all this mess out" said Elias with hope in his voice. Soon Angel, Elias & Kelly arrived at the Lookout. Ryder & the pups were out the front playing together when they arrived.
"Hey guys. How are you?" asked Angel as she smiled happily at everyone.
"We're good. How are you?" asked Chase as he happily wagged his tail.
"We're OK. School was quite hectic. Did Ryder tell you about what happened?" asked Elias.
"Not yet. What happened at school today?" asked Marshall in a curious voice.
"Pop diva Lindsay Remington is here to collaborate with Elias. She's been extremely disrespectful & rude to everyone. She yelled at Mayabella & brought her to tears because she accidentally walked into her & she thinks Mayabella should apologise & not her. It's going to be hell getting through this week" said Kelly as she clenched her fists in anger. The pups gasped at what they had been told. The thought of anyone being so mean to someone else for such a trivial matter was a shock to them.
"That's horrible. I hope Mayabella's OK" said Rocky as a concerned look appeared on his face.
"She is. Lindsay's too stubborn to apologise & it seems like she's unrepentant over what she did" said Elias.
"If she treated us like that I'd bite & scratch her so bad she'd be hospitalised. It disgusts me to know that she's so inconsiderate" said Rubble as he growled in anger.
"When she refused to apologise at lunch I spat in her food & dumped it on her to give her a taste of her own medicine. She freaked out & threw a tantrum like a 3-year-old. It was really funny" said Kelly as she chuckled. The pups laughed along with her thinking it was funny what happened to Lindsay.
"Maybe now Lindsay will think twice about the way her actions & words will make other people feel" said Skye.
"I don't know about that. I think there's a likely chance Lindsay will retaliate. I'm going to make sure nothing gets out of hand" said Elias as he appeared uncertain of what Lindsay would do or say next.
"That's good. It'd be awful to hear that a fight broke out over such a petty feud" said Zuma.
"Indeed. Let's go to the park. It's a perfect day for it" said Ryder in a cheerful tone.
"OK. Let's go" said Elias as everyone walked down to the park. They all began running around playing happily together. It was always lots of fun hanging out at the park swinging, sliding, spinning, climbing & running around. Suddenly Elias' phone began to ring. He grabbed it out of his pocket & answered the call. It was Lindsay.
"Hi Lindsay" said Elias.
"Where are you? You're supposed to be at your mansion helping me get settled in" said Lindsay in a demanding voice. Elias rolled his eyes in frustration.
"I'm hanging out with my friends at the park. I don't see why you can't sort this out yourself" said Elias. Lindsay became annoyed that Elias was refusing to come help her.
"Don't be lazy. You better get your ass down here right now. I refuse to be disrespected like this" said Lindsay with anger in her voice. Kelly grabbed Elias' phone & began yelling at Lindsay.
"SHUT UP YOU LITTLE BRAT. LEAVE US ALONE" yelled Kelly as she hung up. Everyone was shocked by what had just transpired.
"Wow Lindsay's really selfish. That was so rude of her to demand Elias' assistance like that" said Chase in an annoyed voice.
"I'll say. Now I know why she's called a pop diva" said Marshall.
"She's obviously the kind of person that expects everyone to wait on her hand & foot. I feel sorry for the people who work for her. I bet they're always being forced to put up with such appalling behaviour" said Rocky.
"Just because she's famous doesn't give her the right to act like she's better than everyone else. I refuse to treat her like royalty because she's a pop diva" said Rubble as he growled in disgust.
"That kind of behaviour is what I'd expect from an infant child. Lindsay has almost no maturity whatsoever" said Skye as she sneered.
"If she keeps acting like this she'll be very unpopular. Nobody likes a spoilt diva that thinks they're royalty" said Zuma.
"Don't worry about it guys. We don't have to listen to her. Let's stay here & hang out. It might help us forget about Lindsay" said Elias.
"Good idea. Let's keep playing" said Ryder as everyone continued to run about having fun. They spent the whole afternoon at the park playing together. Lindsay repeatedly tried to call Elias, but he refused to answer his phone. Soon it was time to head home. When Angel, Elias & Kelly arrived at the mansion they found Lindsay standing at the front door with her arms crossed & an angry expression on her face.
"WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM? I'VE BEEN WAITING HERE FOR HOURS SO THAT YOU COULD GET ME SETTLED IN. HOW DARE YOU KEEP ME WAITING. YOU HAVE NO MANNERS" yelled Lindsay. Elias scoffed at Lindsay's behaviour.
"1ST of all you could've let yourself in. We're not your slaves. Stop expecting us to do everything for you. It's not always about you princess" said Elias as he glared harshly at Lindsay. Lindsay growled in anger. She felt like nobody was being considerate.
"I'M MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE COMMONER PEASANTS YOU WERE HANGING OUT WITH. YOU HAVE SOME NERVE BEING THIS INCONSIDERATE" yelled Lindsay.
"SHUT UP. YOU'RE REALLY STARTING TO ANNOY US" yelled Kelly as she angrily glared at Lindsay while clenching her fists. Lindsay sneered as she rolled her eyes.
"Run along you little brat. I don't have time for commoner peasants like you" said Lindsay as she glared at Kelly.
"I live here you idiot. I'm Elias' girlfriend" said Kelly.
Lindsay was taken aback by what Kelly said. She found it hard to believe that a "commoner" was the lover of a celebrity.
"I bet you only date him for his money. You're such a gold digger. Shame on you" said Lindsay in a snide voice. Kelly became angry at Lindsay's behaviour but before she could do anything Elias intervened.
"We started dating before I achieved fame & fortune. You need to watch your mouth Lindsay. When you're in my house you follow the rules that are put in place. I have no problem kicking you out if you don't comply" said Elias in a serious tone. Lindsay rolled her eyes.
"Whatever" said Lindsay as she gestured to the door. Elias opened the door & let everyone in before shutting it behind him. Lindsay looked around the mansion & saw that it was quite beautiful & elegant.
"Wow this place is amazing. I still think my house is much better though. I'm glad I'm not sleeping in a crummy & filthy hotel. I deserve the best accommodation wherever I go. It disgusts me that the blonde hoe who dared to cross me lives here as well but then again, I couldn't care less about her. All that matters to me is that I have what I need right here under 1 roof" thought Lindsay as she walked through the mansion looking for the guest room. Terry soon noticed everyone & became curious when he saw Lindsay.
"Hey guys. Who's that?" asked Terry as he nodded his head towards Lindsay.
"I'm Lindsay Remington. You must be stupid to not know that. I'm the biggest child star in the world" said Lindsay in a condescending tone. Terry was taken aback by Lindsay's rudeness.
"Elias is more of a star than you'll ever be Lindsay. You'll never be better than him" said Kelly.
"You're only saying that because you're his lover. That's such a biased opinion" said Lindsay as she scoffed in disgust.
"He's a billionaire that owns more than you. His career is much bigger than yours & you know it. You're just too stubborn to admit it" said Kelly.
"Name everything that he owns" said Lindsay as she arrogantly smirked. Kelly smirked back as she prepared to put Lindsay in her place.
"He owns this mansion, the backyard amusement park, the other amusement park in town, the concert hall, the recording studio, the film/TV lot & much more. What do you own?" asked Kelly.
"Well just my mansion really. I'm only a recording artist" said Lindsay as her smirk changed to a look of shock. Kelly chuckled as she revelled in her ownage of Lindsay.
"Exactly. Elias' net worth is much bigger than yours. You just got owned darling" said Kelly as she smirked at Lindsay. Lindsay scoffed & rolled her eyes.
"Whatever. I'm done with this. You're just a prissy & smug brat. I'm going to my room" said Lindsay as she stormed off to the guest room. Kelly was satisfied at putting Lindsay in her place.
"I don't know who she thinks she is, but that behaviour isn't going to help her at all" said Terry as he sneered in disgust. His opinion of Lindsay was already as negative as the others.
"No, it won't. I don't want to hear another peep out of her for the rest of the day" said Kelly.
"I'm just glad nothing has escalated too far. Please try not to get in a brawl. I may not be happy with Lindsay's behaviour but at the same time I'm going to be working with her on a few things this week. The last thing anyone needs is a full-blown fight over personality conflicts" said Elias as a look of concern appeared on his face.
"I'll only resort to violence if it's the last resort. I promise you that" said Kelly in a reassuring voice. Elias sighed in relief at this.
"That's good. Shall we start making dinner?" asked Elias.
"OK. It is getting close to dinner time" said Kelly as she smiled. Elias returned the smile as he & Kelly went into the kitchen to start making dinner. They decided to make some gourmet chicken with mixed vegetables & pepper gravy. Elias focused mainly on the chicken & gravy while Kelly mainly focused on the vegetables. They both enjoyed cooking together. It was something that made them both happy. Soon the beautiful aroma of freshly cooked chicken filled the kitchen that made Elias & Kelly feel euphoric. After the chicken finished cooking in the oven it was cut up into portions & drizzled with pepper gravy. The vegetables soon finished boiling on the stove & were placed next to the chicken. Elias & Kelly then set the table for everyone & filled Angel & Terry's food & water bowls before serving up. Ella, Ethan, Harry & Susie arrived home just as dinner was served.
"Hey guys. Dinner smells nice. What are we having?" asked Ella in an excited voice.
"Chicken & vegetables with gravy. I bet you'll love it" said Elias as he smiled at his & Kelly's parents.
"We sure will. If it smells good, then it must taste fantastic" said Ethan as he smiled enthusiastically.
"It's all ready if you want to tuck in" said Kelly.
"Is Lindsay Remington here yet?" asked Harry with curiosity in his voice.
"Yes. She's in the guest room" said Elias.
"You better let her know that dinner's ready. I bet she's starving" said Susie.
"Let's go" said Kelly as Elias & herself waled to the guest room. Once they arrived they knocked on the door.
"What is it?" asked Lindsay in an annoyed tone.
"Dinner's ready" said Elias.
"If it's peasant food I'll be really angry" said Lindsay in a blunt manner.
"It's chicken & vegetables with pepper gravy. Take it or leave it" said Kelly as she rolled her eyes in frustration. Lindsay emerged from her room & walked with Elias & Kelly to the table before joining the adults to eat. When Lindsay saw the food, she appeared satisfied.
"Looks good. I can't wait to try it" said Lindsay as she licked her lips. The food looked appetising & made Lindsay's mouth water.
"Let's eat" said Elias as he smiled while himself, Kelly & Lindsay sat at the table & tucked into their dinner along with the adults. The chicken had a juicy & somewhat salty taste with a firm but soft texture & the pepper gravy on it added a bit of spice to the flavour. The vegetables were cooked well & tasted nice & juicy. Everyone happily gobbled down their meals. They all enjoyed every bite. Once dinner was eaten the dirty dishes were put in the dishwasher. Lindsay returned to her room while everyone else went into the lounge to watch TV. They all snuggled up on the couch as the TV was turned on.
"Have you been with Lindsay all day?" asked Ella with curiosity in her voice.
"Kind of. She hasn't exactly been on her best behaviour though" said Elias.
"What did she do?" asked Ethan as a confused look appeared on his face.
"She outright stated that we're all commoner peasants who aren't on her level, yelled at Mayabella for accidentally bumping into her which brought Mayabella to tears, refused to apologise for her outburst & insisted that Mayabella should apologise instead, misbehaved during class, yelled at Elias on the phone for hanging out with me, Ryder & the pups, screamed at us when we got home for not letting her in & generally had a condescending & narcissistic attitude. If that's all she can do in 1 day I dread to think what she could do in 1 week" said Kelly.
All the adults appeared shocked to hear about Lindsay's behaviour. None of them expected to hear about Lindsay in such a negative manner.
"Nothing got out of hand did it?" asked Harry with concern.
"Not really. Other than heated arguments nothing's really gotten that bad. That's how I hope it stays" said Elias.
"I'm glad to hear that. If Lindsay acts up in our presence, we'll make sure there are consequences for her bad behaviour" said Susie in a serious tone.
"Good. Maybe some discipline will straighten her out & help make things easier on everyone" said Kelly.
For the next few hours everyone sat together snuggled up on the couch watching TV. Soon it was time for bed. Elias & Kelly bathed/showered before getting into their pyjamas. As they did so they discussed what they expected to see in the coming days.
"It's going to be a crazy week. As if Lindsay's behaviour wasn't enough of a hassle we must get busy working on our collaborations tomorrow. I hope it doesn't go as badly as things did at school today" said Elias as he sighed in uncertainty.
"Me too. It's only been 1 day & I'm already fed up with her. If she doesn't get her act together there's going to be serious problems" said Kelly in a sinister tone.
"Just remember the promise you made. I'd hate to see you break it" said Elias as he looked Kelly straight in the eyes. Kelly knew that Elias was serious & gave him a reassuring smile.
"Don't worry I'll keep my word. I'd never break a promise I made to you" said Kelly as she pulled Elias close while looking deep into his eyes. Elias smiled happily as he pressed his lips against Kelly's. They held each other close as they passionately locked lips. The kiss felt magical & It made Elias & Kelly feel like they could touch the sky. After they broke apart Elias turned off the lights & hopped into bed.
"Goodnight Kelly" said Elias.
"Goodnight Elias" said Kelly as she lay in bed & settled down for the night. As Elias lay awake he thought about what the next few days would be like.
"The next few days will be hectic to say the least. I hope Lindsay tones down her behaviour. Otherwise it'll only cause more issues. Nobody wants to deal with her outbursts especially when it comes to trivial matters. I'm going to do my best to be patient with her but if she steps out of line I'll make sure that she knows her place. While she's a guest here in my house I expect her to follow the rules just like everyone else. I have no problem throwing her out if she gets out of control. Just as long as tensions don't boil over I think we'll be able to get through this week without any major problems" thought Elias as he fell asleep.
