Jurabi: Heeeeeeellooooooo~! This is Espada D. Jurabi bringing you Guiding Goddesses! Yes, this…is completely unexpected of me. I have not done a story like this in a long time. The last story I've written similar to this one was called Hinata Hyuga: The Keyblade's Chosen One which ended around the time the manga of Naruto was in the middle of its final arc; in other words, a really long time ago. I had three reasons as to why I stopped writing the Naruto story: I did not like how I wrote the story, Naruto and Kingdom Hearts did not mix well in my eyes, and at the time I wanted to focus on one story at a time.

So I'm sure you're wondering: "How did I go from those three reasons of leaving a crossover I liked writing to suddenly coming back out of nowhere with a new one years later?"

Well, it all started with a pm conversation I had with Rocco151. He asked me why I stopped writing the Naruto crossover story and if I planned on reposting it later. We went back and forth in the conversation with me giving what explanations I remembered from all those years ago and told him that I wouldn't be returning with the same story.

But then (and this is what brought me back to start this very story), Rocco151 told me he had the ENTIRE Naruto story saved and archived. I didn't believe it at first until he shared the documents he had with not a single change to them. Every single chapter from the very first chapter to the last chapter was there waiting for God knows how long.

After reading through my old story, I realized that maybe; just maybe, I can return to a story like this and make something amazing out of it. So first off, I must extend my thanks to Rocco151 for giving me the drive to come back and write something like this again. I miss my Naruto story, but I know that this story is better suited to my liking.

So, Love Live and Kingdom Hearts…a pair you wouldn't normally see. I don't know what to expect when it comes to the number of people who will read a story about this. One thing that makes me hesitant to start a story is not knowing if it is going to be a winner or not and in most cases the latter usually happens, and I feel even more hesitant since if you look up the list of Love Live x Kingdom Hearts stories, you will find nothing. No one I know has done a story crossing these two together, at least to my knowledge. So…I don't know what people will think of this, but I will do my best for everyone who is willing to give this story a chance to be something amazing.

Anyways, sorry for the long wait, let's get started.

Second Arrival

~~Unknown~~

"…Where…am I?" A wandering voice asked in a dark void. There was no light to be seen; nothing but darkness. One step forward was all it took to cause a light to shine from below.

The light shined so bright the individual had to shield their eyes until they have adjusted to the sudden change in brightness. In an instant, the entire scene changed from a dark void into a vast yet still ocean.

"Hello," Said a voice sounding like a child.

"Who's…there?" The wandering voice asked as they opened their eyes to see the vast ocean.

Standing beyond the horizon was a little girl with shaggy, orange hair wearing a pink, sundress and brown sandals. The little girl smiled and gestured to come closer. Careful steps were taken towards the little girl as the vast ocean remained calm despite the pressure put on by the weight of both the little girl and the wanderer.

"A name, please?" The little girl asked.

"M-me?" The wandering voice asked.

"Yes," The little girl said, "I know you, but I want to make sure it's really you."

In the reflection on the calm water below, a reflection appeared below the wanderer revealing an orange haired girl with blue eyes.

"Honoka Kousaka," The girl, Honoka Kousaka, introduced herself.

"Honoka…" The little girl said as she continued to look at Honoka from top to bottom dressed in her practice attire, "Mm…"

"Now can you answer my questions?" Honoka asked, "Who are you? Where are we?"

"Mm…." The little girl said nothing else and continued to stare.

"Um, hello?" Honoka asked waving at the girl, "Anyone in there?"

"You are not her," The little girl said.

"Huh?" Honoka asked tilting her head in confusion.

"And yet…" The little girl continued, "This is unexpected; in fact, I cannot tell if this is a sign of hope…or…" She finished as her tone trailed off into slight fear.

"What in the world are you talking about?" Honoka asked, "You still haven't given me your name or even an answer to my question."

The little girl looked up at Honoka and smiled, "Sorry, Ms. Kousaka. I was lost in my imaginary world."

"Imaginary…world?" Honoka asked.

"Although…you being here alone may complicate things, but having two of you answering my call instead of no one is better, I suppose," The little girl said. She saw the look of frustration painted on Honoka's face for not having her question answered, "Your questions will be answered in another time, Honoka Kousaka, but now our time together is short."

"Right…" Honoka said with a hint of skepticism, "This must be a dream. After all I did kinda doze off while studying for my exam. I'd rather be doing that than being here."

"Come, Ms. Kousaka," The little girl shouted from a distance.

Honoka was in a state of shock and confusion after seeing the girl go from being in front of her to being so far away, "What the-?! Okay this has to be a dream," She said before she slowly made her way across the calm ocean.

"You are not the first one to arrive here, Ms. Kousaka, and you will certainly not be the last," The little girl said as Honoka drew closer to her. Once Honoka came closer to the little girl, three pillars rose from the ocean surrounding them. "You have been summoned here to fulfill a role entrusted to you," She said as three orbs rested on the pedestal, one red, one blue, and one green. "The power you need to uphold that role lies dormant inside you, but with help you will be able to unlock it."

"…Okay…" Honoka said hoping all of this is some kind of joke.

"So tell me, Ms. Kousaka, what kind of person are you?" The little girl asked, "Is the inside of your soul red, indicating powerful, exertive, and loud? Or perhaps green, known for being intelligent, for being one who thinks beyond the norm, and for being lukewarm about headstrong actions? Or maybe blue for having a reserved and calm personality? With the mind of a person who can sit with a troubled heart and mend its wounds? Be honest, now. You will be rejected if you choose wrong."

"…Hehehehahahahaha…" Honoka laughed after hearing the little girl's explanation. She wiped the tear that formed in her eye before calming down, "You're funny. Alright, I'll play along with your fun game since you're so adorable. Obviously, I'm picking red 'cause I like red," She said before she grabbed the red orb, "Although my favorite color is pink…"

The red orb glowed, eventually engulfing the entire area.

"Whoa!" Honoka shouted in shock as the light consumed her, "Wh-what's happening?!"

XxxxxxxxxxX

"Ms. Kousaka," The voice of the little girl said.

Honoka opened her eyes and found she was lying on the ground in the middle of an entrance to a building familiar to her, "Is this?" She asked as she stood up and saw the building was none other than Otonokizaka, a high school in which she attends at.

"Otonokizaka…" The little girl said standing next to Honoka.

Honoka jumped in shock after being unaware of the little girl's presense, "What the—?! How did you?!"

"You know this place, don't you?" The little girl asked, not paying any mind to Honoka's confusion.

"Y-Yeah," Honoka replied, "I'm surprised you know Otonokizaka too, despite its current reputation."

"I remember it, but I can't say I truly know it," The little girl said as she saw dark blobs form on the ground in front of them, "But I do remember them," She said before she vanished.

"Them?" Honoka asked before she noticed the dark blobs on the ground multiplying. Eventually, something rose from the blobs. Small, black creatures with yellow eyes formed in front of her and slowly made their way towards the girl.

"The light within you, Ms. Kousaka," The little girl said as if she was inside her mind, "Do not let these things snuff it out."

"These things?" Honoka asked before she backed away from the unknown creatures continuing to approach her, "What…are they?"

"Fight with your power, Ms. Kousaka," The little girl advised, "Surely all of it isn't locked away."

"My…power?" Honoka asked before a bright, red light enveloped on her arm. When the light died down, Honoka had a long, white katana in her hand ready to be used, "What is going on?!"

Before her question could be answered, the unknown creatures leapt at her ready to swipe at her with their claws.

"Ah!" Honoka shrieked before she jumped out of the way falling flat on her face. Once she recovered, she looked back and saw the creatures turning towards her for another attack. Frustrated, Honoka stood on her two feet wielding the katana in both her hands, "Fine, you all asked for it!" She shouted before she screamed, rushing towards the creatures slashing at everything that moved.

What remaining creatures she didn't attack retreated in the shadows.

"How'd you…like that?!" Honoka screamed as she panted heavily.

"Well done, Ms. Kousaka," The little girl said as she appeared before her, "Our time is running out, though. We must hurry."

"Time?" Honoka asked gasping for air, "What…are…you talking about?"

"Please, save your questions for another time," The little girl said, "Now, we must go."

"Where?" Honoka asked, "Out of this weird dream?"

"To the place of beginnings and ends," The little girl said before she shined like another bright light.

"Ah, what is it with this dream and light?!" Honoka asked shielding her eyes as the light engulfed her body.

XxxxxxxxxxX

The sounds of a loud ocean filled Honoka's ears as she opened her eyes again to see a clear, blue sky. When she lifted her head, her eyes caught sight of a vast, blue ocean like the one she had been on before except this time she was instead sitting on a beach.

"Where am I now?" Honoka asked as she looked around and saw she was on an island. Her eyes caught sight of a boy standing far out in the middle of the waves.

Honoka made her way to the boy, but along the way a light appears in front of her. After the light died down, she saw a red haired girl in front of her.

"H-Hello?" Honoka asked.

"What is it you want the most out of your life?" The girl asked.

"Huh?" Honoka asked. The girl who asked remained silent which made Honoka hesitant to answer, "Well…to broaden my horizons. Like meet a lot of people, cultures, and go to a lot of different cities. That sounds exciting to do."

The girl said nothing and simply disappeared from Honoka's sight leaving her in a state of shock.

"Okay…this dream has gone on long enough. I want this done already!" Honoka whined as she rubbed her exhausted head.

"What are you afraid of the most?" A boy's voice asked.

"Huh?" Honoka asked as she looked up and saw a silver haired boy standing in front of him, "Who are…?" The boy said nothing same as the girl beforehand. So instead of asking any questions she thought about the question given to her and replied, "I'm afraid of being indecisive. Being a part of U's means making your own important decisions that not only affect me, but everyone else to. I learned this the hard way…" After Honoka answered the question, the silver haired boy disappeared. "Is this my mind telling me to reflect on my decisions or something?" She asked.

That question had to wait in the back of Honoka's mind, because she still saw the same boy standing near the edge of the ocean. She couldn't make out what he looked like from the beach, so she moved a little closer walking in the cold water, "Ah…so cold..."

Honoka managed to get a good look at the boy, who had brown, spiky hair, "Hello?" She asked.

The boy turned around and faced her with nothing but silence.

"You're not going to ask me a question?" Honoka asked.

"What is most important to you?" The boy asked.

"The most important thing?" Honoka asked as she thought about everyone in Otonokizaka and U's, "My friends."

Unlike the other two, the boy did not vanish after his question was answered. Instead, he reached out his hand to Honoka.

Honoka was reluctant to take the hand of a stranger, but given this was all a dream, she felt she had nothing to lose and took his hand.

"You want to broaden your horizons, you want to remain decisive and never make wrong decisions, and you want friendship above everything else," The boy said.

"…Yes?" Honoka asked.

"Your adventure starts at midday," The boy said with a smile, "Keep a steady pace and you'll come through fine."

"Adventure?" Honoka asked, "Who said I was going on an adventure?!"

The boy said nothing as everything in the area from the island to the ocean itself disappeared. What reappeared underneath Honoka's feet was a picture of a blonde haired little girl wearing a blue dress and apron.

"…What now?" Honoka asked as she looked around for the little girl, but noticed she hasn't been talkin,. "Hello?! Little girl?! What do I do now?!"

What only came after were more of the black creatures that attacked Honoka before.

"Oh no…" Honoka said as she took out her katana, "What do you little ant things want?! I don't have food for you!"

The creatures charged at Honoka ready to scratch her, but Honoka easily jumped backwards and hit three of them with a big, horizontal slash, and hit another two with a vertical slash. One black creature; however, managed to scratch Honoka's right arm leaving bleeding marks.

"Ow!" Honoka screamed before she slashed the creature destroying it, "And here I thought you things looked cute…"

After looking over her wound, Honoka decided it wouldn't be there when she wakes up, "It's a good thing I worked hard during my time in the kendo team…" She said before she scanned the area. She managed to find another area in the distance with stairs that connected it to the area she was at now. After climbing the stairs, Honoka saw it was yet another painting she was standing on a tan woman with jet black hair wearing light blue clothing holding a golden lamp.

"We are out of time, Ms. Kousaka" The little girl said as she appeared before Honoka with a sad expression.

"Out of time?" Honoka asked.

"Yes," The little girl said, "I am sorry I can't tell you what is going on, but I can only give you a warning."

"Warning?" Honoka asked.

"Yes, the brighter the light is, the stronger a shadow becomes," The little girl said.

Her shadow moved on its own, forming its own body. As it did so, it grew bigger and bigger until it took shape of a large creature with four arms and two heads.

The sight of the creature frightened Honoka causing her to step back in fear, "O-okay….I want out now…This has been a hilarious joke, but now you are approaching the limit."

"Honoka Kousaka," The little girl continued as if she didn't hear her, "Do not give into fear…."

The large creature took steps towards the frightened girl. Honoka has had it and tried to run. But there was nowhere to go.

"Do not feel alone…" The little girl said.

"That's it!" Honoka shouted not listening as she took out the white katana, "This dream is over!" She shouted as she charged at the monster wildly swinging and cutting at the outer skin.

The monster jumped back and clenched both its bottom arms and punched the ground causing ruptures, knocking Honoka off her feet.

"Ow…" Honoka cried before she got back up angrily, "Why you…" She growled as she rushed back towards the monster again and wildly slashed at it.

The little girl silently watched the girl fight the giant creature before she closed her eyes, "Her heart is strong….but only when it wants to be…"

"End this dream already!" Honoka shouted preparing to attack the giant creature again; however, her white katana disappeared from her hands, "What?!"

The monster used all four of its arms to slam the ground again knocking Honoka off her feet causing her to sprain an ankle.

"Ah!" Honoka screamed as she rubbed her right ankle, "My…ankle…" She breathed as darkness covered her body.

As the creature drew closer to the downed girl, the little girl still had her eyes closed as she faded away.

"Honoka Kousaka," The little girl said.

"Pl-please…help me!" Honoka cried out in fear.

"Do not give into fear," The little girl said as Honoka's body became entangled in darkness.

"Do not feel alone," The little girl said.

"Do not feel….alone…?" Honoka asked as everything became black.

"Go…he is waiting for you…" The little girl said as she faded away.

"…the goddess who will guide his way…to the door."

Jurabi: Alright, guys, that should make the ending to the start of this story. Like I said before, I don't really know how the reception is going to be for this since Love Live X Kingdom Hearts crossover doesn't even show up as a search engine. I've never had a story of mine actually not have a search engine so I don't know where this story will end up aside from the dashboard. For all I know, it might end up being forgotten and I'll end up stuck, but at the very least I'll have a story I can have fun making.

But if you can, it would be great if you let me know if this story is going to be something to you even if that something is somehow negative. I'd love some indication of people reading at least one portion. Sorry for hammering that in on you, I'm just a little nervous for this story and what people might expect.

Anyways, I really am glad that you took the time to read this chapter. Let me know what you thought about it in the reviews. If you really loved this beginning chapter and would want more of it, please leave a favorite and a follow. Thank you for reading and I'll see you next chapter.
