Chapter 1: the night before the storm
As Leo drank his last bit of beer, Jack was waiting impatiently in the car
"where is that fucking drunk." Jack said tapping the glove box of the car
Leo stumbled out of the bar and he held the hood of the car to keep himself from falling down
As he open the driver door Jack asked "You think you're driving"
"Hell ya i am my car, my rules, and I'm sober enough to drive" Leo said
"Whatever man" Jack said angrily laying his head on the window trying to go to sleep
As Leo drove down the road he looked over at jack who was asleep.
Leo's eyes start to wander and he starts looking at trees on the side of the road and his eyes start to slowly close and he shot them wide open as he drifted off the road onto a bumpy dirt path "OH SHIT" he tried to steer back onto the road but crashed directly into a tree
Leo awoke groggily and he scanned his surrounding only to see darkness no signs of light anywhere he looked over to see Jack passed out on the ground. He crawled over to Jack and started to shake his body "Jack wake up Jack" as Jack slowly opened his eyes he looked up to see Leo kneeling over him almost in tears. They both got up but only to be met with a figure that they couldn't make out very well. "Welcome" the figure said in a scratchy voice
"w-who are you" Jack said in a panicked tone.
"I am death of course" the figure said stepping forward revealing his cloak and scythe.
Jack trembled in fear. Leo looked over and noticed that there was a wet stain on Jacks pants
"did you really just piss yourself?" Leo said still staring at his crotch
"who wouldn't?" Jack said still shaking in fear
"Me you fucking panzee." Leo said as he rose to his feet
"so how did we die" Leo said looking directly at death
"well as it turns out drunk driving is dangerous you fucking moron." death said
"you fucking bastard! you got me killed! i told you to let me drive!" Jack screamed at Leo extremely furious.
"Calm down I-"
"Don't tell me to fucking calm down I'm fucking dead!" Jack said starting to tear up
"I-I'm sorry" Leo said starting to tear up as well
"Sorry!? you're sorry!? we are dead think about mom and dad when they hear we are dead!"
"I...I...I shouldn't have gotten drunk"
"duh you think so!?"
Leo was at a loss for words
"Where are we?" Jack asked turning to Death
"Purgatory, I will decide whether you deserve to go to heaven or hell."
"what if i don't want to go to either?" Leo asked as he stood to his feet
"Impossible you have to be sent to one of them." Death said glancing at Leo
"What if...what if you can send us to any other realm?" Leo asked
"Actually that might work..."
"Then kick us into a different realm, any realm." Jack said eagerly
"As you wish" Death then waved his hand and a turquoise portal appeared in front of them
"Uhh you go first" Jack said pushing Leo into the portal
"Wooo" Jack screamed hopping into the portal
