Hi guys. So I don't know about you but it didn't sit well with me that Ben just walked away from Mal after what happened at family day so I decided to change that. Mal POV

All four of us sit at the picnic table far away from everyone the way it had always been, and after tomorrow the way it would always be.

"Hey guys how's it going?" we all look up to see Ben standing behind me. "Hey" he says taking a seat next to me and putting his arm around my shoulder, I stiffen for a moment still not used to gentle physical contact then relax. "It's going to be alright" he tells us but the way he looks at me tells me he was mostly talking to me.

I lay my head on his shoulder and close my eyes desperate to have as much comfort from him as I can get, because after tomorrow he will never look at me the same way again love spell or not.

Ben kisses the top of my head "it wasn't your fault guys, you all did nothing wrong they just don't believe in you like I do. They don't know you" I squeeze my eyes closed tighter as guilt rushes threw me.

This wonderful boy has done nothing but believe in us believe in me and how am I going to repay him? By destroying everything good that he knows.

"How long does she think its going to last?" I hear Jane say walking towards us with Audrey.

"I know…..Ben's never going to make a villain a queen" Audrey sneers. Ben's head snaps up.

"What. Did. You. Just. Say? His voice is dangerously low.

"She's a villain Ben this little witch has you under a love spell why else would you break up with me?" Audrey sneers

"Mal is not a villain I am not under a love spell Audrey" Ben snaps. He switches his eyes to Jane "I can't believe you Jane Mal has been nothing but nice to you, helped you with your insecurities and this is how you repay her, by turning on her when she needs someone most?" Jane looks down and Ben looks back at Audrey. "What was that you said about not making a villain queen Audrey? Your right I won't be making a villain queen because Mal is. Not. A. Villain!" "She is a girl who got torn into for something she had nothing to do with and you asked why else would I break up with you? At least I know Mal isn't with me JUST for the crown!"

Audrey stares at him in shock but a new voice cuts in. "What is wrong with you people?" I look behind us to see Doug with a protective hand on Evie's shoulder.

"Doug what are you doing?" Chad asks.

"Protecting my girlfriend! I can't believe you guys these four vks have been nicer to me since they got here then you guys have the entire time we have been in school!, yet you turn on them because of who they are. We are supposed to be heroes as far as I'm concerned the villains aren't the ones sitting at this table!"

Ben looks at Doug proudly but I close my eyes again. I have just seen Doug be braver then any of us I've seen Ben defend us when nobody else would. They do not deserve what's going to happen to them. "I can't do it anymore" I mutter so quietly nobody else hears me. I squeeze my eyes shut tighter as I sign all our death warrants because that's what going back to the Isle without the wand will be and there is no chance we won't be going back not after I tell Ben everything. I open my eyes "Ben? Can we talk for a minute? Alone?" I ask.

He nods giving everyone in front of him a dark look "come on sweetheart you don't need to listen to them any more" I fight back a flinch as he leads me away preparing myself for him to hate me.
