Summary: Trigon takes away what Raven love the most.

How does it feel?

Raven sat on her knees on a rocky platform, her arms and legs bound by firey flames. She was crying, her eyes filled with tears and her cheeks running a waterfall. She didn't dare to look up, in fear that he stood there.

"So, how does it feel?" A loud dark voice Raven knew too well said.

Raven didn't answer, she couldn't. She felt her anger grow within her, but so did her sorrow.

"I asked you a question!"

Silence.

"To frightened to answer huh?" The voice said. "Then we'll try again tomorrow." The voice faded slowly, leaving Raven alone bound by the flames.

-Next day-

"Made up your mind? How does it feel?" The voice again.

Silence.

An arm made of fire swirled under her face, she saw this, but she reacted too late. The arm lifted her face to face the voice.

Raven looked up, her eyes half lidded, she barely had any strength to do anything.

"How does it feel?" Trigon said, he stood on a good distant from her. Not because he was scared of her, but he was so big.

Still, Raven stayed silence.

"hmp! Very well, we'll try again tomorrow." He left her, the arm still held her face up.

-Next day-

"Today, I want an answer." Trigon again stood before Raven.

She didn't answer, she just stared at him with tired eyes.

"W-Why?..." She asked, her voice was almost dead, it cracked multiple times, even if it was just one word.

"Why? You need to embrace your demon, getting rid of him was the way to make you see!" Trigon roared.

"He was innocent…"

"Innocence has never been a problem to me." Trigon turned around, not wanting to look at his daugher.

"He had a life."

"And I took it!"

"He didn't deserve that…"

"Why should I care?"

"He was my friend…"

At this, Trigon began to laugh. "Friend? He never cared about you!"

"H-He did…" She began to sob. "You just didn't see it…"

"Ha! I see everything!"

"You didn't know him, I did." Raven's voice had at this point changed from the dead sad tone to a defencive, caring, angry tone.

"He was only a human."

"No…" Raven's eyes opened fully, she shakily stood up. The chain trying to pull her down, but she didn't let it. "He wasn't just a human, he was my friend, one of my best, he never gave up on me, he never let my cry for long, he saved my life more than once, he stopped my demonic side more than once!" She screamed.

The chains faded as her magic began to flame around her. Pure black flames grew around her as Rage made it's face known. Her eyes changed from the dead purple colour it had been to the bloody red four eyes her father had given her.

"And that's why, I LOVED HIM!" She screamed, the dark flames grew even taller but the colour changed from black to white. Her cloak changed from blue to white, her eyes still held the deadly blood colour.

Trigon tried shooting his dark magic at her, but she simply stopped him with a shield and one hand.

"What the-?!"

Raven smiled. "You made the mistake of breaking my heart like you did." She shot one of her own blasts at him. It was too fast for him to react. He fell to the ground.

Raven flew towards him gracefully. She shot another blast, white electricity forced him to stay down.

"You've been killing my soul for far too long!" Her voice now echoed in the dark cave.

She fired another blast. This one far more powerful, as it increased Trigon's form it also made his body to ashes. He roared in pain as his body was literally pulled apart.

"You think you know pain? This is what you made me feel since the day you found out about me." The pain increased, hard.

As Trigon's roar died, Raven fell to her knees again, the power draining her. She looked at Trigon's remainings and smiled.

Her love was avenged, and Trigon would never harm any of her loved ones again.

"Forgive me Beast boy, I wasn't able to save you…" She cried.
