"Hey, Lucas," Dawn whispered. She tugged on the boy's blue coat sleeve to get his attention, internally cursing his height. As he looked down, the girl tucked her hair behind her ear and under her usual pearly white beanie. The prinplup and monferno behind the pair snickered, knowing what the girl had planned.
"Hm?" Lucas tore his gaze from the concert in front of them to look at the girl. It was Christmas Eve and they were at a Go-Rock Quads show since the band was on tour in Sinnoh for the winter.
"Get down here," Dawn commanded softly. Lucas tried very hard not to laugh, but it was difficult to not. Dawn only came up to just above Lucas's elbow which, despite causing several accidents, was completely adorable. She had a habit of telling him to stoop down when she wanted something, usually a snack or a drink or those new seals for her pokeballs Lucas please! And, curses, Lucas couldn't say no when she made herself even more cute than normal!
"What'cha need?" he asked, leaning down to her face. Dawn hesitated firstly before letting out a whine and stealing a kiss on his cheek. Both teens froze, not sure what to do after that. Lucas looked at her and blushed; Dawn kept her head turned away from him, her face completely on fire.
In front of them, the Go-Rock Quads were playing a new love song with Tiffany taking the lead to sing about fated encounters and soul mates. The whole stage was lit up pink and silver, which reflected into the crowd. People in the crowd were slowly dancing in pairs or sharing Christmas Eve kisses. Dawn snuck a glance over to Lucas, hoping he wouldn't see her.
But, he did. He smiled at her kissed the top of her head, laying his kissed cheek on her hair and giving her his arm. Dawn blushed, hiding her face in the boy's sleeve; she'd done it, she'd gotten a kiss out of Lucas!
