Hello, all of you fanfiction readers! Before you leave this page to find a different one, I have a very quick and important question: I was thinking about writing a fanfic about Dareth's (from Ninjago) life and childhood so I would like to know if anybody would actually be interested in that. The only reason I'm asking this is because I've never really seen a Dareth fanfic and I like to preplan my stories before I upload them, so I do not want to put so much time in a story that won't get read. Anyway, if you could spare just a minute of your time to comment whether or not you would be interested, that would be spectacular:) You're not committing to read it if I do make the fanfic, I just want to know if this sounds interesting to anybody. Carry on with your reading and God bless!
So I'm not breaking the rules, here's a short Ninjago fanfic of Kai. I guess it's sort of different but maybe you will like it.
One by one, Kai felt the tears drip from his cheeks. As he sat on his bed, he did not think he had ever felt more sad, not even after his parent's death. What he had done was unforgivable, he thought. Kai felt like he could no longer show his face to the world and like he would never feel happiness again.
There was a dark storm brewing inside the despairing teenager which he thought would never be calmed until he heard a voice. The voice was calming and peaceful, putting all of Kai's regrets and worries on hold. It was inside his head, but did not seem to frighten Kai, instead calming him and bringing him relief.
"Wouldn't you like to undo the horrible things you have done," the voice, sounding like an angelic woman, said.
Wiping the tears from his face, Kai said, "There's no going back from what I have done."
"Oh, child, but there is. All you have to do is come to me," the voice of the woman said before fading away.
Kai got up from his bed and appearing in front of him was a portal. It was coloured green, blue, and white all mixing together. It made him think of . . . no, Kai did not want to think of that. In a state of utter despair and hopelessness, he stepped into the portal in hopes of undoing what he had done, trusting what the voice had told him. Kai figured that was nothing more to loose anyway. Once through, it looked like something of a lovely daydream, but it was to turn into his biggest nightmare . . .
