Painful jolts go through your skin when you use the Trace System to put on your fighting suit. Almost your whole body becomes encased in the plastic-like fabric, enveloped in it from shoulders to toes; the material sticks to your body like an endless chain of fiber, and kisses every single skin cell.
It's the price you have to pay... to pilot your Gundam.
When you're done with the suit, you brainwaves are checked. Then, your pulse and metabolism are checked too. Soon, a voice tells you that all body systems are all right. Now you're one with your Mobile Fighter, since you're wearing your fighting suit; the pain you recently went through while you put it on is worth it all, since it'll let you handle this (cursed? wonderful?) techonology wonder, allowing you to fulfill your dreams and the ones of your colony people.
When Domon Kasshu puts his fighting suit on, to become a full-fledged Gundam fighter... Will he be an angel or a demon in the fighting courts? Who knows. It depends on him and his heart. He's been commisioned by his colony people to win no matter what; also, he secretly has a mission given to him by Colonel Ulube and Minister Karato. To find the Devil Gundam, destroy it, and bring his stray brother back to face judgement. Otherwise, his family's honor will be tainted forever, and the man in the capsule will never see the light again.
He fights - recklessly most of the times, though at others, he can briefly see a light of peace. He thinks he's doing so for himself, for his family, and for the woman who fights more subtly by his side. Rain Mikamura, the one who has to put up with him for most of the time. He knew her as a cute little girl who nursed his wounds at school, and after years he found her again as someone very similar to the child he left after Master Asia took him in. She had grown into a pretty and kind, but pushy and still naïve young woman...
She shouldn't be here. She's such a fool, for thinking there was still a way to resolve things without him resorting to violence or having to kill his older brother. She's sheltered, ingenue, and kind of a waif...
But even then, he had still not kicked her out of the team. Pushed her away, yes - but each time he tried, she had managed to stay right by his side.
And though he'd never admit it, Domon knows he'll be damn sorry if she ever gets fed up and decides to leave him.
