Kagome and the gang were sitting by the lake. Kagome sighed in
boredom. Inu-chan stands up and goes to the water. "whatca doing, inu-
yasha?" Shippou asked. "There's something over on the cliff…"Inu-chan said.
"Oh, is it the peach man?" "No, he's long gone." Kagome said and walked
over to the water. "Hey, It looks like Sesshoumaru's dog form." Kagome
wondered. "No. Its too thin. Sessho would be down here already."
The thing on the cliff shifted and slipped. As it fell, large black, shadowy wings shot out and it flew above. Each time it flapped its wings, a black cloud appeared and broke, letting black particles falling down. It soared over the group and and flapped its wings many times, Inuyasha covered his nose, so did Kagome, holding her breath. "Wh-what is this stuff?" Miroku puzzled.
The shadow then dissapeared. I can't hold my breath much longer…Kagome thought, a couple seconds later, she let out her breath and sucked in. She coughed and fainted.
Kagome woke later to the smell of soup, it seemed so strong, she couldn't breathe it in. She held her hand in front of her noseand sat up, with a blanket wrapped around her. "Kaede, why does the soup smell so strong?"
"What do you mean, Kagome?"
"It hurts my nose."
"That wouldn't surprise me." A voice came from behind. "Inu-chan?" Kagome turned around. She was puzzled at the sight. It was inu-chan alright, but he looked more like a dog demon than usual. He looked like he was in the middle of becoming his demon form, but stopped halfway. (Sorta like an anthro, if you get my drift.)
"Inu-yasha! What happened?" "That's what I'd like to know." Just then, Shippou came in. "Kagome! Your hair is like Inu-chan's, 'cept black!" "W- what?" Kagome got up and ran to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. She then screamed in abject terror.
Sango burst in "What's wro-" She then screamed at the sight of herself in the mirror, then combined screams cracked and shattered the mirror.
Miroku went walking past and stopped. His eyes grew wide and he blushed. Sango turned around. "MIROKU!" she yelled, as he rushed off.
The shadow landed on Naraku's doorstep. It opened the dangling bamboo and stepped in. "What?" Were the only words out of Naraku's mouth before the shadow jumped on him and seemed to consume him.
