Yamato PoV. His little brother forgot his lines in his school play "Wizard of Oz".

The thick, red curtains rose and -there- stood my cute little brother in one weird outfit. He was wearing a brown shirt and the most ugly pair of dark brown shorts I'd ever seen, slightly patched up with thick strings to show how poor his character was.

I wonder which one of the characters he's playing. The Lion? The Scarecrow?--The Witch--pfffttt, please excuse me while I laugh my head off (AHAHAHAHA!)

The little music band guide us to the new scene where the characters should sing what they wished for once they meet the Wizard of Oz. And Katsura stood frozen in his place, staring wide-eyed at us when it was his cue (it was a dead give away for the other characters were gesturing to Katsura's character).

Don't tell me he forgot the few simple lines he was supposed to sing?

"What's wrong with, Katsura? Did he forget his lines?" Dad whispered worriedly to me. I would like to know that too, dad.

"I don't know--,"

--OH. GOD! He looks as if he was ready to burst into crystalline tears. Don't cry. Oh no, no no... what happened? He had been practising so hard on his script for the last 2 months.

From the corner of my eye, I saw Sou suddenly jumped from his stool and was ready to run away for something.

"Hey! Where are you-?" I called after him.

"It will be just for a minute," Sou assured and maneuvered his way through the crowded seating area for parents and family.

... He is going to do that -THING- again! Isn't he? Has he no shame at all? Trying to steal my cute little brother right in front of my nose?

Katsura looked relieved when Sou climbed up the stairs to the stage. Wha--? Don't give him that helpless look! I'm your brother! I'm supposed to help you, Katsura!

Sou threw his arms round my little brother (my eyes twitched--way too comfy. They looked way too comfy, with Katsura clinging on his shirt and all), did his magic (my eyes twitched again) and released Katsura from his arms.

"I want a brain!" Katsura finally formulated those words in his high pitch voice.

I don't know how Sou does it, but I intend to find out why Katsura goes to him FIRST instead of me. ME! Yes, me! His big brother!

So pathetic.

"What kind of curse did you cast upon my brother, Sou?" I narrowed my eyes when Sou -FINALLY- after a -LONG- time left the stage to join my side.

He laughed. "No curse. Katsura just loves me more than you!"

Ooooh! The nerve! I glared at him some more. You dare to threaten my kyoudai-love?

Sou still laughed at me and then turned his attention to Katsura's play.

---- 10 years later ----

There was something really fishy going on between Sou and Katsura. I just know it! I can smell it in the air they breathe. I can feel the sparks those two sent each other. Did I miss something?

... No, that's not right. I -KNOW- it's there!

My little brother might not notice it, but really, I believe Sou is aware that the bond he has been sharing with him for all these years, is changing.

The sneaky bastard! You dare to cheat on your best friend just to get the kid brother!
