So there is another cool NFA challenge I wanted to try. Keeping up with Kate. I instantly thought of episode Probie. It begins after Abby leaves Tim in his therapy session. The smells make him hallucinate but hallucinations aren't always a bad thing.

I was going to do whole episode but then I think it would be confusing so just doing the McAbby scenes.

"I'm surprised you don't just pick the lock"

Tim stopped pulling at the handcuff and looked around in horror. The voice giggled and then she appeared.

"But then who am I kidding? It is Abby who put you there" she added with a smirk on her face.

"K….K….Kate" he stuttered. He closed his eyes. "Must be the candle stuff, making me…."

"You sure Tim? Or are you just denying the fact you wanted to see me?" she asked cutting him off.

Tim opened his eyes and saw she was still there. Standing in the clothes she wore when he joined the team. Her arms were folded but a small smile was on her lips.

"Wow…" he breathed. Kate gave him a puzzled look and looked down.

"Wow, I am actually in normal clothes, guess Tony hasn't completely ruined you yet" she remarked.

Tim blushed. "Oh the….I mean….I was just…." he stuttered and Kate laughed making him calm. 'You always did have a pretty laugh' he thought.

"I always wondered what would happen if you ever killed someone Tim, but you're taking it a lot better than I thought" she said, changing subject.

"I killed a cop Kate…."

"It was self defense Tim and you know that, you'll do fine, let them help you, the team won't let you down" she answered.

Like that, she was gone. McGee shook his head and checked his watch.

"Well, least that killed ten minutes" he said and then the laugh was heard again.

Tim smiled and relaxed. He stopped fighting and enjoyed his twenty minutes of peace.

"Well, don't you look peaceful" Abby said as his time ended. Tim chuckled.

"Yeah" he said. Abby bent and removed the handcuff and Tim stood.

"Thanks" he murmured and left the lab. Kate didn't appear again but the thought of her somehow gave him the strength he needed.
