This is painfully old, at least 3-4 years.
Aero looked forward at the scenery, moonlight gently gracing his soft features. Haku tried to stop staring at him but couldn't tear his eyes away from his peaceful face. He inhaled harshly, trying to speak.
"could we leave now?"
Aero looked up at him confused.
"Leave? But we just got here" He paused, his worrying side taking over, "did I do something wrong?"
Haku finally looked away from him, glancing to the side and muttering a no under his breath. He looked at everything but him, which confused Aero.
"Haku? What's wrong?"
Haku glared forward, still avoiding his gaze, making Aero annoyed.
"Kohaku, Tell me."
Haku knew it was an order, no matter how softly it was said, especially since he used his full name, which he almost never did. His eyes softened and he looked at Aero out of the corner of his eyes.
"y-your face…."
Aero blinked a few times and tilted his head before patting his face with his hands, looking like he was making sure it was still there.
"My face? D-Do I have something on it?"
Haku sighed and looked down mumbling under his breath.
"No it's just… you look… happy…"
Aero raised an eyebrow, even more confused than before.
"of course I do, the moon's…. pretty.."
Aero trailed off at the end, realizing what was going on before he broke out in giggles.
"y-you're.. jealous… of the moon?"
Haku's eye twitched in a cross between annoyance and embarrassment as Aero tried to stop giggling, a light blush crept onto his face.
"Shut the hell up! I am NOT jealous of the moon! I was just surprised you were happy.. it's been awhile. "
Aero finally calmed down enough to stop giggling and smiled at Haku. Haku glanced at him and glared at him before starting to walk away.
"let's go already, it's getting late"
Aero walked up behind him and patted his head lightly.
Thanks for bringing me here Haku, it was nice."
Aero grinned when he saw Haku blush a darker red and walked past him happily.
"s-stupid runt…"
..I have gotten so much better at writing since this. x.x
I'll probably go back and rewrite this eventually. Or just keep it up so I can see how much my writing has improved.
Geh, it burns my eyes just reading it.
...Hopefully I have this posted in the right category.
I think I started writing this to go with a picture I drew, but I don't remember which.
Btw, how do you space on FF? It doesn't let me do it correctly, and so it makes everything look cramped.
