A small drabble since I'm not sure how people will like this...

Nicknames
She had them for everyone.
Nicknames. The bane of King Nasch's existence. Ever since that faithful day when their parents introduced them to one another before arranging their marriage. At the time, Prince Nasch had been a short child, at least a head shorter than the girl he had just met, and thus came the annoying nickname of 'Twerp'. So, yes, he was a bit shorter than Princess Meissa (his future queen, that still felt surreal, even now years later) but that didn't mean that she had the right or the means to call him something as degrading as that. During his days of growing up, he reached a couple of inches above her height, which made him feel better but still incredibly annoyed as Meissa would keep calling him by that.
Naturally, the annoyance went away like it had never been there when he saw her cut off the left arm of the Mad Prince - who had attempted to attack his sister Merag - in one, clean sweep of her sword. It was then that Nasch realized that he would rather have a nickname like that than lose an arm.
It was also the day when he realized that he had loved Durbe's sister all along.
Meissa is Serena's past life name, in which she had been married to Nasch by the decision of their parents when they were still kids. If you read the drabble in which debuted in, you will also know that she is Durbe's twin sister and Merag's best friend. And appearently the murderer of Vector's left arm while they were still humans back in the day xD
