'We're out of ice cream. I couldn't find any in there.' Michael hears a voice say, closes the freezer door and sees his youngest child in the living room, watching an old movie. 'An American Divorce?' He says, walking over to the couch and sits next to Carly.

'I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about what Tracey said earlier.' Carly says. It had happened during dinner, when Carly had noticed the tension. A look on her face made Amanda say 'You're just like your father ' to which Tracey said that she's probably adopted or a child that Michael had created with another woman.

Carly had said that Tracey looked a little too much like Brad, which pissed Amanda off. She didn't like the implication that she had cheated on Michael way before Michael had slept with the stripper. It always came back to the young stripper back in Liberty City.

'Carly, you are not adopted and you are not an illegitimate child. Even if you were adopted and Tracey was Brad's child, i would love you both like my daughters.' Michael says as Carly rests her head against his shoulder, still looking for reassurance.

'Blood doesn't make a family. Love does. She just has a way of pissing me off!' Carly says, making Michael laugh. 'I wasn't trying to be funny, dad.' She says, smiling despite her lingering anger. 'I know, baby girl. I'm just remembering how much you act like me.' Michael says, putting an arm around Carly as she starts to fall asleep, too tired to stay up and finish watching the movie.

Michael grabs the remote, stopping the movie and picks Carly up in his arms, getting off the couch and carries her upstairs to her room, puts her on the bed and tucks her in.

'Good night, baby girl.' He says, kissing Carly on her forehead before walking out of the room and closing the door behind him, then walks downstairs into the living room and takes the disc out of the DVD player,
putting it back in it's case.

He wonders why Tracey would try to hurt her little sister like that but reminds himself that it's only sibling rivalry and this incident would be forgotten about soon.
