It starts off at the Townsville Hospital where the Narrator started saying, "What a gloomy day here at the Townsville Hospital.." but sees Dexter and his older sister Dee Dee arriving with him saying, "Dexter? Dee Dee? What are you two doing here?" as they walked into the hospital and signed in. They eventually came into a room where they found the ones they came to see, the Powerpuff Girls, who were all in a bed, eye shut, and hooked up on life support. The girls were surrounded by their loved ones including The Professor, The Mayor, Ms. Bellum, Ms. Keane, Johnny Bravo, Ed, Edd n Eddy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Samurai Jack, Time Squad, Sheep, Robot Jones, Socks, The KND, Grim, Billy, Mandy, The Justice League, Mystery Inc., Teen Titans, Duck Dodgers, Cadet, Bloo, Mac, Frankie, Coco, Eduardo, Wilt, Ami and Yumi, Lazlo, Raj, Clam, Juniper Lee, Ray Ray, Monroe, Lyoko Warriors, Totally Spies, Atomic Betty, Jackie Chan, Jake, Adam, 10 yr old Ben Tennyson, Gwen, Grandpa Max, Rodney, Andy, Sunny Bridges, Lil'D, Madison, Philly Phil, Tamika, Eddie, Kim and Kam, even Mojo Jojo, The Ganggreen Gang, Princess Morbucks, Fuzzy Lumpkins, and Him.
As the brother and sister duo walked to the bed, it showed a DVD of the 2016 reboot on the corner. Dexter asked, "What happened?" Ben answered, "Cartoon Network. That's what." Edd says, "The doctors said that due to the horrible reboot, the girls are now on life support for their dying franchise." Robin says hanging his head, "I know how that feels." Scooby says, "Re Roo." Gwen also says, "Count me in." Bloo asked Frankie, "So if they die, can I get their stuff?" with Frankie punching Bloo. Grim says, "For all the ways a cartoon can go, a dying franchise is the most painful way." The Professor stayed close to the girls side and Numbuh 3 gave him one of her Rainbow Monkeys for good luck. Courage started to whimper, so did Eduardo.
Things seemed pretty dire until the girls started to wake up, and everyone were smiling as things seemed to be okay. Juniper gets a buzz on her cellphone, picks it up, and read what appeared on it, "It says that you guys we're revived for a 3rd season." but disaster struck when the Girls eyes opened up wide, and a long beep sound started...They were gone. The Professor was brought to tears with him continusly yelled out, "GIRLS! GIRLS!" Dexter pulled out a needle that happen a special antidote that could save their lives, but Jermie and Philly Phil shook their heads with Jermie saying, "It's their time." and Philly Phil says, "I think it's better to let them die peacefully than have them suffer more." Soon enough, everyone, even the villians started crying mourning over the death of the Powerpuff Girls. The girls eventually dissolved into nothing but a pile of sugar, spice and everything nice, and some powdered Chemical X. The Narrator, who was also crying says, "Huh...It looks like...the girls...are...DDDDEEEEEAAAAADDDDDD!"
