After a year, I decided to upload these short stories and one-shots I've been posting on wattpad :D Anyway, have some sad Bruiseshipping oneshots

The ninja went their separate ways, to search for the robbers. There was a spree of robberies, and there had to be made a stop to it. Who better to call than the ninja? One by one they left, leaving Jay and Cole on top of the twelve-story building, overlooking the city lights and stars that spotted the black canvas in the sky.

Jay pulled his mask over his head, his curls standing up because of the static. He swept his curls back and gleamed at the lights and stars. He enjoyed the fresh air, being freed from the prison that covered his head. His sapphire eyes averted to the Italian beside him.

Cole smiled at him and took Jay's gloved hands.

"Will you be okay on your own?" Cole asked Jay, hands in his. Jay nodded. "I'll be fine, I promise." He said, staring into Cole's mossy green eyes. Cole smiled and brought Jay in for a short but sweet kiss. Jay closed his eyes and enjoyed this little moment.

"Call if you need help." The raven-haired boy said. Jay slightly rolled his eyes. "I'm just as much of a ninja as you. I can look after myself. I know how to fight." He said, quite irritating.

Cole immediately felt bad and softly gripped Jay's shoulders. "I know that. I'm just worried about you. I don't want to lose you." Cole said. Jay smiled a bit and pecked Cole's lips.

"I do too. I'll see you just now." Jay said, waved goodbye and merged with the shadows. Cole smiled and did the same.

Now to find those robbers.

Jay looked around him. He ended up in an alleyway after chasing a hooded man. There was a clattering of dustbins in the dark alleyway. He squinted his eyes and got into a fighting stance, taking his nunchucks from a holder on his back. He pressed a button and a scythe-shaped blade shot out from each of the nunchuks, ready to slice anyone who got in his way.

He heard a yell and whipped his head around just in time to see the figure speeding toward him with his sword pointed directly at him. His blue eyes went wide and he let out a slight yelp. The figure was too fast and Jay couldn't react fast enough.

They collided.

Jay yelled in pain as he felt the sharp metal blade pierce through his stomach. It felt like time stopped as he felt the cold blade push it's way through his body and pierced out of his back. He couldn't move and the weapon retracted. The hooded figure yanked it out and kicked Jay backwards.

Time went back to normal as Jay collided with the cold tar ground. His hand shot up to his abdomen and he felt warm liquid. He brought his shaky hand to his face and saw blood. He wished it was a dream. But reality sunk in.

He was left to die

All alone

In an alleyway

But he fought. His anxiety made things a hundred times worse. If he had a panic attack, he would faint and most likely die. He tried to keep his breaths slow and steady, trying not to let his mental state take over. He lay on the ground, putting pressure to his wound to slow down the bleeding on one side. He decided to call for help after ten minutes of getting his breathing under control.

He struggled as he crawled on the ground to his walky-talky, which fell when he got pierced.

"Call if you need help"

He grasped it with his bloody hand and pressed the button to call Cole. He heard static until Cole's voice came through.

"Jay? Where are you? You should've been at the meeting point ten minutes ago."

Jay opened his mouth and simply whispered "Help", before dropping the walky-talky and coughing up blood.

He was drowning in his own blood.

Cole ran in the direction that Jay ran. By the sound of Jay's voice, he knew something horrible happened.

He scanned his eyes carefully over every alleyway, looking for his lover. He froze when he saw a stripe of crimson in a small alleyway. He jumped down from the building and swiftly landed on his feet.

There was no street lamp in the alleyway. There was just a line of crimson leading into darkness. He swallowed the lump in his throat as he walked his way, following the blood.

His stomach dropped when he saw a lump of blue lying on the ground surrounding by blood.

His heart banged in his ears as he raced to Jay's side. Jay looked at him with tearful eyes. Cole chocked on tears as he held up Jay in his arms. Blood poured out of his chest and back.

Jay gripped Cole's neck and Cole held him close, with Jay laying with his face in Cole's neck.

"I...don't ...want...to...die." Jay breathed and cried. Cole sent his team his location and dialled the ambulance.

"Shhhh, help is coming," Cole said and took his hand through his hair.

"I love you," Jay whispered, pain evident in his voice.

Cole held him close and kept him warm. He would do anything just to keep him a little longer until help arrived.

"I love you too, my bluebird," Cole said and kissed Jay's forehead. Jay looked at him and smiled through the pain. His eyes became droopy and he went limp in Cole's arms. His chest stopped moving.

Cole shook Jay and yelled his name through the tears. He was pulled away by medics as red and blue flashed in the alleyway. Medics tried to find a pulse, try to jump-start his heart.

But they

Were

Too

Late

Jay was gone.
