Last Airbender Idea

I'm not much of a wordsmith. There's no way I could write a compelling and well-developed story. However, there are some fanfic ideas I've had that I would like to see brought to life. That being said I've dedicated this profile to putting up these base ideas in the hopes that someone will come along and turn this into a full-fletched story. Here is one for Avatar: TLA.

Quick introduction:
I'm not much of a wordsmith. There's no way I could write a compelling and well-developed story. However, there are some fanfic ideas I've had that I would like to see brought to life. That being said I've dedicated this profile to putting up these base ideas in the hopes that someone will come along and turn them into full-fletched stories.

This idea in particular is an Avatar: The Last Airbender fanfic.

The basic gist is as follows:

The story is set during the time of the War of Fire Nation Aggression, shown throughout the original Last Airbender series that lasts for over 100 years. It follows the lives of five Earthbenders, taken from their familes as infants by the Fire Nation during their initial push into the Earth Kingdom. They were then taken back to the Fire Nation and placed in a, "special" orphanage to be raised and indoctrinated in the ways of the Fire Nation. As they grow older, those who begin to show signs of Earthbending are taken away from their friends to a training facility for them to learn Earthbending from a corrupt Earthbending master and Fire Nation military tactics, under the continued watch of ranking Fire Nation Officials. Once they come of age they would be sent out on missions as spies, moles, and saboteurs for the Fire Nation.

I figure the story is fairly flexible. There's room to work in different angles with the characters to where you can sort of plug in characters, their motives, relationships, etc. The motive of the Earthbending teacher/ teachers is pretty subject to change. It can be bribery. They can be Dai Li, have loved ones held hostage, or be captives themselves. As for the Earth Kingdom children who didn't become benders, their fate is basically left unknown, giving room for developments that can happen with their story. I also figure as Earthbending Fire Nation agents this gives room for a lot of different plot elements like betrayal, rebellion, maybe the use of a solar eclipse, or even some tie in with Iroh's siege of Ba Sing Se.

Anyways, feel free to make adjustments. I just wanted to get this skeleton out there in the hopes that one day I'll see it turned into a full story. If you happen to pick it up, please let me know. I'd love to read it.
