It's a Machines World

The Bohemians moved quietly around the junkyard, running stealthily behind the many piles of rubbish everywhere. One of them, a small girl with messy brown hair, clad in red leather and fishnets, tripped over and landed with a loud crash.

"Mads!" one of the men ran over to her, long platinum blonde hair falling into his face "be careful will ya, you know what'll happen if anyone sees us" he helped her up and have her a one armed hug.

"Sorry Paul" the girl, Madonna, smiled sheepishly then carried on moving, whispering to herself "It's a machines world, don't tell me I ain't got no soul, when the machines take over, it ain't no place for rock and roll"

Another man known as Bob walked over to her slowly with a slight limp "They tell me I don't care but deep inside I'm just a man, they freeze me they burn me, they squeeze me they stress me"

Charlotte Friggin' Church, a fierce looking young woman, put her arm around Madonna's shoulders and threw Bob a sympathetic look. "With smoke blackened pistons of steel they compress me, but no one but no one but no one can wrest me away, back to humans" they all stood together and the blonde haired man, Paul, walked over and they all sang together "We have no disease no trouble of mind, no thank you or please no regard for the time, we never cry we never retreat, we have no conception of love or defeat" there was a loud noise behind them, so they all turned around at the same time, then quickened their pace, the men in the lead "What's that machine noise? It's bytes and megachips for tea"

"It's that machine boys, with random access memory, never worry never mind, not for money not for gold" the girls chimed in. Another girl, Donny, joined them, holding tightly on to a bag in her arms. Paul ran over and slid a large wooden crate over to reveal a fairly big hole in the floor. They all jumped down and Bob hung back to make sure the hole was covered again.

Further ahead, Donny turned to Madonna and Charlotte "what is a machine's world?"

The girls sighed "its software is hardware, its heartbeat is time share, its midwife's a disc drive, its sex life is quantized, its self-perpetuating a parahumanoidarianised" Donny gave them a confused look, they simply shrugged. Donny didn't care, she was used to unanswered questions.

"living in a new world, thinking in the past, living in a new world, how you gonna last?" she asked herself.

As all of the Bohemians climbed through another hole in the wall, Madonna sighed to herself before climbing in "it's a machine's world"
