He watches her as she walks past him. Happy to see her safe and sound. Yet the shine in her eyes lack luster. Has she dealt with the pain and blame on her alone? The pale and frantic expression on her pretty face hurts him. He caused that to etch onto her lovely face and soul.
How he wishes to take it all way the pain and memories that haunt her. Erase them so she can move on. To allow someone new to enter her heart. He never meant for things to go as they did. He can't hold her and she can't see him. They are not on the same plane anymore.
He lingers beside her, hoping that the pain leaves her. That she lets go of him. The consist thoughts that dwell in his heart keeps him at her side. Does she hurt? Is she waiting for his return? The answer: to these questions are yes.
The broken promise of always being there gone with the wind. Thanks to death… But that will not stop him from protecting her. He shouldn't dwell longer beside her. He knows the affects of him clinging on; it only harms her further.
He sees it when she wakes from her restless slumber all the while searching for him. He can see the fear and pain in those heaven colored eyes. He visits her in her dreams to ease the pain. Yet it strains her instead of refreshing her.
From afar he watches as she walks down the quarter. Sees the way her gaze flickers about looking for him. All he wants to do is reach out. She stops moving after spotting a man that has a similar frame to Kaleb. He whispers to her that is not him. He an see the frown crawl on her lips. Tears ready to shed in moment's notice. Bowing her head she marches on. Every time he tries to reach out something always stops him.
He should just stop and move on. But he can't. Not until she finds peace…. He prays for someone to give her the love he wished he could have given her. If he doesn't go back to her at all… He'll do what he never thought he would…He'd pray to whatever higher power to have her forget him and the memories they shared… For her; he'd pray…
There you have it... I had a hard time writing this but i it had to be done. I still can't watch Kolvina vids without curling into a ball. I'm just not ready to face it. Anyhoo. I hope you enjoyed. Let me know what you think. -JasZ
