chapter two

Kai ran as far as he could through the town with Hitomi in his arms, she wasn't making an effort to struggle, so he could go a longer distance, she didn't care, she liked Kai holding her, she liked everything about him so far, he was mysterious and fearless, dangerous and kind. Nothing about him made her feel bad.

Ray and Tyson tried their best to follow them, but they couldn't go fast enough, well, Ray proboly could've, but he wouldn't make that effort.

The night sky got even more darker than before and finding Kai would be harder than ever, even with a girl with him. There weren't even any stars out, and that made Ray stop in his tracks, Tyson turned around, 'What the heck are you doing Ray! We need to go find them!"

"There aren't any stars out, " he paused and Tyson gave him a stupid look, like he had no idea what was going on, "Something doesn't feel right."

Tyson was officially confused, "Feel right...?"

Something in Ray's pocket was shaking, when he pulled out the beyblade that belonged to Hitomi, it was shaking and glowing a yellow tint, like a glowing light or gold. Ray's eyes got huge as he continued to look at it, "What the heck..." It continued to shake ferociously, "Is going on with this thing!"

Back to where Kai and Hitomi where, he finally stopped running and took Hitomi into a small home outside the town, it was almost like a shack with one bed and a sink for water, it proboly wasn't even running.

"W-where are we?" Hitomi looked around, seeing the one bed she turned and blushed and gave Kai a seductive look, "What did you plan on doing to me? Hm!"

He completely ignored her and turned around, sat on the floor and fell asleep.

Now Hitomi didn't like to be ignored, "Are you listening to me!" He was still tring to sleep, "Wow this guy is wierd..." She blushed, "But oh too cute!"

Hitomi sat on the bed and looked at Kai and smiled talking to herself quietly, "What is it about this guy? He seems so mean and evil like on the outside, but somehow I can sense some good in him on the inside."

She layed down on the bed and didn't bother sleeping, she layed there, with her eyes open, staring at Kai, she gave a small smile, just as he turned and faced her, and to her surprise, he wasn't sleeping at all.

Blushing majorly, Hitomi realized that Kai must have heard her talking to herself earlier, she began to turn more red from embarassment than blushing.

"So..." He smiled lightly, "You don't think I'm that bad do you?"

Hitomi smiled and sat up, "No, and do you want to know why?" He nodded, "It's because you stood up for me, and that's what made me belive that." She smiled again.

The door swung open and Tyson and Ray stood in the doorway, with mad looks on their faces, "Give her back to us Kai! You are in no position to take her from us!" Tyson shouted and stepped further into the shack.

Kai stood up and smirked, "Then tell her the truth Tyson, tell her who saved her, because it sure as hell wasn't you!" He pointed to Tyson and smirked again, "Well!"

Hitomi stood infront of Kai and faced Tyson, "Your fight is with me," She glared at him seriously and took her long cloak off, she was wearing a green belly shirt with a cut in the niddle, being a bit...revieling and pink shorts that seemed a bit too short and gloves to match, she quickly put her hair up in a braid, "Give me my blade and our battle can begin!"
