A/N: This was supposed to be part of a series Kay & Me (Charming Roses) were creating; the 'Title' series. This little scene has been written since just before the summer of 2005 & was to appear in, probably, volume 3 or 4. But, since it's gonna take a while (if not, eternity) to get there, I thought I'd already share it with you people. Not Beta-ed.

To give you a little surrounding timeline:
The story turned AU after the episode 'A Girls Best Friend'. Harm & Mac are now married & Mattie lives with them. Chloe is going to GWU in DC and lives with them too.

Mattie scooped some icecream in a bowl and opened the fridge and moved some jars and boxes around. "Have you seen the canister of whipped cream?" She asked Chloe, her head still halfway in the fridge. "It was here two days ago, I'm sure of it."

"Uh-huh," Chloe said. "The last time I saw it was when I took out the garbage this morning. It was lying op top in the trashcan…" She waited for a moment, while Mattie removed herself from the fridge and closed the door, slightly dissapointed. Than she continued. "in Harm & Mac's room."

Mattie's head shot up and Chloe bursted out laughing from the look on her face.

"Uch, you just gave me a visual I never ever wanted to get." Mattie told Chloe, a horrified look on her face.

While Chloe was still chuckling, Harm came walking in the kitchen. He saw Mattie looking at him with a strange expression on her face and heard Chloe burst out in laughter again.

"What?" he asked. "What did I miss?"

"Hm, nothing." Chloe said, between laughs. "Mattie just wanted to know what happened to the whipped cream." She continued with a smug look on her face.

"Yes, and in informing me of its fate, Chloe gave me a visual I never wanted to have. Yuch, some things about one's parents are best to remain unknown. Mattie added, a slightly disgusted look on her face.
