Looking down at the scene was then chief of the examination management."That boy will have to face a difficult opponent.

"Teito Klein..." Looking up at the cold violet eyes, Teito burned in anger..."Argh!" In a blink of an eye, Ayanami had
pulled out his sword and stabbed Teito at the waist. Pushing the sword in further he asked "Teito Klein, I would like to
ask you again, come back to the imperial army."
"So he was once part of the imperial army." Lance started to focus on only Teito. "I'm surprised he wasn't buried alive
when he came to this Seventh district."
"LIKE HELL I WILL!" Teito spat at the tall man and pulled away from the sword. "What can you possibly do here in this cursed
church?" the man retrieved his sword...
"I... I want to protect the people here" Teito muttered looking down at his feet.
"Protect you say? Like you did to that poor boy Mikage?" Ayanami smiled evilly. "you couldn't protect him when you had the
eye of Mikhail. Now without the eye, just what can you possibly do? you are just leading them to their death."
"Why would a boy like him have the eye of mikhail?" Lance could only stare. "And to think the imperial army has it now..."
"I'll show you then," with a snap of finger, an illusion appeared. Teito's face was blank then it showed fear... What
appeared was a dreadful scene. Frau, Castor, Labrador, Lance were all unconscious. The bishops and the sisters were all
lying in a pool of blood. Hakuren was also there, the soldiers were questioning him about the vessel for the eye of
mikhail. Standing above all of them, was Ayanami and his unit.
"Teito Klein is now in a critical condition! If this continues, he will not be able to stay sane. We have to stop
his exam..." a tall man reported. "let him continue!" Frau entered the room. "he should know that the people here obviously
have the power to prevent this..."
"I... I will protect them even if it cost me my life..." Teito looks up into the man's violet eyes with a glare, not a single bit of fear left on his face.
Now that's my boy... Frau thought...
"I see..." the image of Ayanami is replaced with an image of a smiling Teito with deep red eyes. "Don't worry, I'll protect you." as he started to fade away, he says "Don't forget, I love you"
