A lone figure in the woods…alone…bolted upright out of a troubled slumber. Quickly, the blonde grabbed his bow and aimed…at nothing.
He sighed and began to relax…it was only now that he realized he was shaking. Shaking from the nightmare, or from the unseen threat that he could feel growing in his mind…he didn't know.
He attempted to steady himself by grasping the bark on a nearby tree. He found that he was alone, no one for miles…
But, then why did it feel like he was being watched…
A whisper behind him made the Elf whirl around panting, suddenly more nervous than he should be…but there was nothing…just a soft simple whisper in the dark…
"I told you Legolas…the mind can be just as evil, as the Dark Lord himself"
Legolas paled, and was only haunted more as the name was repeated again into the dark…
"Ancanar………"

*Quartered: means of medieval torture, where a person was left out in a field or open space, for days, with no food or water, with their limbs all tied to stakes going in separate directions, then after they were through torturing you, they would take the ropes that were tied to you arms and legs, attach the ropes to horses, and then the horses would take off in separate directs, tearing you into four pieces, thus the word "Quarter"
