Don't Leave

Nine year old Drew Lipski was sleeping, when the sound of his mom and dad fighting woke him up. He hated when they fought. Drew buried his head under the pillows after running a hand threw his black mussed up hair.

Next thing he knew, Drew was left without a father.

"Mother, when will Dad come home?" Drew asked innocently. He didn't know that it pained his mother at what she saw. Mama Lipski watched as her son pressed his face into the window, trying to spy his father.

That night Drew knew this wasn't like when his dad would leave for a couple of days. No this is more permanent. He was gone for good. The pain gnawed at him. He curled up, Drew pulled his knees to his chest while hunching over them. He pulled in labored breaths, fighting tears. A few minutes later, Drew felt himself being pulled into his mother's embrace.

"Hush, hush, it's okay Drewbie." Mama Lipski consoled her crying son.

"Did I do something wrong?" Drew asked around sobs. "Did he not like us? Was it my fault?"

"No Drewbie, it wasn't your fault. You did everything right. it was my fault." Mama Lipski tried to soothe her little boy´s pain. She grabbed a tissue off a near bye table and wiped the tears away. Ever since then his mother was more overprotective than normal.

"This plan MUST work!" Drakken, Drew turned evil, ranted to his raven haired sidekick. "Those who mocked and doubted me will be under my power.!" 'And it'll show my dad too' Drakken dragged around the guilt of being the reason that his dad left.

Drakken felt if he stood up for himself more and was less of a geek his dad would't have left. That was the main reason Drakken kept to his world domination plans. That and the bullying. Drakken's mom was the only constant in his life other than the bullying.

"So, Dr. D, what's the new take over the world scheme?" Shego asked in a bored manner.

"I'm thinking of retiring from the take over the world business," Drakken sighed.
