A/N: So I know this movie's pretty old now, but who's watched John Tucker Must Die? Who loved it? Well, I answer yes to both questions! This idea kinda just popped into my head, for some reason I thought James Potter could totally make a good John Tucker, and so this idea was born! (Although, I will have Lily and James get together in the end, of course).

Before I started Hogwarts, I was invisible.

No, not that type of invisible. I was just sort of...you know...anonymous.

My only real friend was Severus Snape; the boy from Spinner's End that everyone thought was crazy.

That was one of two things working against me. The other thing was my sister Petunia. Tuney pretty much despised me. Severus told me it was because she's jealous because I'm special. I'm not sure whether I'm special.

Well enough about me. This story isn't even about me. It's about him.

James Potter.

Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, his family's loaded, and his looks could be described as somewhere between a model and a god.

So anyway, during the first Hogsmeade weekend of the seventh year, Sev and I went to the Three Broomsticks for some Butterbeer. Guess who we spotted? It was none other than James Potter, with a pretty blonde.

Oh, I know that girl! That's Mary Macdonald. She's in my dorm. She's super smart (third in our classes, behind only Sev and me) and she's a Gryffindor prefect. She also runs the Charms club, attends senior chess club, rallies for house elf rights, tutors first years, holds study groups and volunteers in the library.

"James, I've decided to write a novel," she announces.

Oh, and she's writing a novel.

Five minutes later and the two are making out over their drinks. Ugh.

It gets stranger. That very afternoon, I was walking to Potions and found James kissing a girl in a broom closet, but definitely not Mary.

This girl was a tall brunette. Marlene McKinnon, Chaser on the Gryffindor Quidditch Team, and also a member of my dorm. But wasn't Potter with a different girl earlier that day?

That's disgusting. He makes me sick.

I went back to the common room pretty late that night. Sev and I went for a walk after dinner and lost track of time. When I entered the common room I was pretty sure it was empty. I started to walk up the stairs to the girls' dorms when I heard the unmistakable sound of snogging. Whoever the people were, they were sitting by the fire. I approached from behind.

Potter. Again.

With another girl. Emmeline Vance, a girl that was always happy and perceived by most as a little crazy. She also happened to be in my dorm.

Now I knew Potter had a bit of a reputation for being a player, but this was really unfair. Three girls, and all in the same day?

I asked a girl in the year above me, Alice, "Why do these girls all seem so confident and cool? How do they not know that Potter is cheating on all of them?"

"James is a total operator," she replied. "He hangs out with girls from different cliques so they never actually talk to each other. And he tells them that his father won't let him date during Quidditch season, so they'll have to keep it a secret."

Wow.

"That's amazing, Alice! How do you know all this?"

Alice burst into tears.

"I don't know, just a guess!" she sobbed, and ran away.

A/N: Let me know what you think!
