The sun began to rise in the distance waking Oliver from his sleep. For the first time in so long he hadn't had a single nightmare, he slept with no fear or doubt and he knew exactly why.
With a sense of freedom he rolled over to see the reason lying next to him, with her hair down and her face softened in sleep, she had never looked more beautiful.
"Felicity" he whispered, softly placing a kiss on her cheek.
"Mmmm" she mumbled sleepily and nuzzled further into the pillow.
Oliver smiled and pulled himself out of the bed and away from his sleeping girlfriend.
Drowsily, he walked into the small apartment they were renting for the weekend. He grabbed some eggs and bacon from the fridge and set himself up to make Felicity breakfast in bed. As he worked it occurred to him how out of character this was, the Oliver Queen he knew before the island would have laid in bed all day and had absolutely no idea how to even turn on an oven. Smiling widely at his development he continued on.
Felicity woke about half and hour later as the sun hit her face. In a dazed state she reached her arm out to wrap around Oliver's sleeping body but was woken by his absence. She opened her eyes shocked, but at the same time not surprised that she had dreamt everything. Confused she rolled out of the unfamiliar bed and walked towards noises in the distance. What she saw however took her by surprise; there in the middle of the kitchen stood Oliver Queen, holding a plate full of food wearing nothing but his tight underwear. She stood frozen in shock….
"Morning Beautiful, you ok?" Oliver said lovingly toward her
"Oh my gosh, it wasn't a dream?" Felicity asked confused
"You dream about this often hey?" Oliver laughed
"Oh you have absolutely no idea" Felicity replied walking toward him. "Whats for breakfast?" she continued, kissing him on the cheek.
"Well it started as Eggs…. Its now just burnt eggs. I will get the hang of the domestic thing eventually, I'm sure" Oliver replied with a tone of doubt.
"Well lucky for you, I like my eggs over done" Felicity said with a smile.
The couple sat together eating their awful breakfast, neither really cared though because they were finally together, and for the first time in what felt like forever, they were both happy.
