As she scanned the crowd she saw someone she had recognized very well her ex boyfriend Jake Puckerman and from what she could see a little girl propped up on his shoulder. As the little girl turned around her deep brown eyes connected with Marley's. She knew the little girl had gotten those eyes from Jake because she herself remembers looking into those eyes about a year ago. When she and Jake were together. She does not regret the time she had spent with him, if anything she was blessed with time she had with him. She remembers the nights where they turned out the lights and they'd fooled around with each other. Or other times, where, she had made him late for work. She remembers when it had been Jake and her waiting outside here in this exact location waiting for a table. One thing she remembers the most vividly though was the night Jake left; she only remembers that so well because she thought she would never love again. As her memories swished, past like photo album. Marley had finally come to peace and accepted; the fact that Jake was happy. She always knew that one day she would pass him on the street. Realizing this would happen she tried to prepare herself but she could never prepare for this feeling. "Baby?" Ryder said breaking Marley from her thoughts. "You okay?" He asked her rubbing her shoulders soothingly. "Yeah I'm happy, I am finally glad I found the good in goodbye." She grinned waving at Jake's little girl. Ryder gave her a small smile before kissing her lips gently. As the crowd, moved through the doors. Marley finally realized there is always a good in goodbye.
