3 years after Endgame

Kathryn, Pheobe, Tom and B'Elanna play Tom's new game involving the 21st century.

Kathryn stared at her sister.

"Pheobe you have to you're the one who knows more 21st century nonsense than I do!"

Pheobe stared at her sister. "Kathryn, you didn't even ask me. Unlike you Kathryn I do have to work, I'm not retired after all. And besides your not a captain anymore which means you can't go barking orders!"

"Pheobe as my sister please help me."

"AHHHHGUUUHHH! I already told you Kathryn that I have a trillion and a half mathematical papers to grade. And after that I have to go over next week's lesson plan."

"How about a compromise Pheobe, I will help you with your math papers if you promise to help me."

"Fine you win Kathryn, so when do we have to be a Tom Paris's house for this new game he created?"

"In about an hour."

An hour later Kathryn and Pheobe were walking down the street toward Tom and B'Elanna home.

"Kathryn why didn't you bring Chakotay to help you?" Kathryn rang the bell and looked at her sister. "Because Chakotay is worse at 21st century trivia then I am."

After Kathryn and Pheobe had both had a couple of cups of coffee, and chatted a while with B'Elanna. Tom came racing in telling them both that it was finished and it was time to start the game.

They all followed Tom into the living room. Tom began explaining the rules.

"Ok, so here are the rules. The cabbie is going to ask us general knowledge questions. When you guess correctly you get points. If you get a wrong answer you get a strike. Three strikes and the game is over. If you get stuck you can pass or you can ask someone on the street."

"Any questions anyone," asked Tom.

The group looked at Tom and shook their heads. "Ok so let's play Cash Cab!"

The cab driver turned. "You're in cash cab. It's a TV game show that happens right here in my taxi. But remember three strikes and your game is over!"

"Question 1"

"Kittens" the group says together.

"That's right!

"Question 2"

Pheobe rolled her eyes. "Cello." She turned to Tom. "I should know I have been playing for 30 years!"

"That's right!"

"Question 3"

Complete the following saying. "Birds of a feather ______ together.

Tom answered quickly. "Fly"

"Strike one! I was looking for flock."

The group groaned.

"Question 4"

"Katie Couric was a TV anchor on NBC. In 2006 she began working for the other network which was named this."

The group was silent.

"I need your answer, or you're going to get another strike."

Kathryn screamed, "pass."

"All right you used your pass. The correct answer is CBS."

"Question 5"

"Luciano Pavarotti did this for a living."

The group was silent.

"Strike 2."

"I was looking for opera singer or singer."

"One more strike and the game is over."

"Question 6"

"The three biggest beverage makers in the United States are Pepsi, Coke and this other."

The group was silent.

"I'm sorry that was your third strike. I was looking for Cadbury Schweppes." "Thanks for playing."

The game ended and they all stared at each other in silence. Kathryn spoke first. "Well that was embarrassing. Tom next time we do this we better hit the books first. I performance today was somewhat lacking." TBC
