((this is a random idea i wrote down that im continuing. please tell me what you think))

The arena area lit up as the combatants walked in. Three in total; one appeared to be a strongly built barbarian male with axes in both hands. The second was an elfin female her, moves graceful and daggers stealthy. The last towered over the others watching them with pitch black eyes. Horns grew from his head as the demon swiped his long curved blades against each other.
Each image was the games projection of the players' soul. And under the projection the real player stood with fake weapons drawn. The players had a helmet to allow them to only see the game world and a suit to activate the pain nerves when struck. The game was won when two of the three combatants couldn't handle the pain.
In the arena the demon waited to strike. The starting call hadn't been yet rung. His pointed ears waited for the sweet toll.
Finally the bell rang and the demon began moving watching both his opponents. The barbarian threw the smaller of his axe's towards the elf and then followed with a swing from the larger one. The elf dodged and parried the blow. While he was distracted by the elf, the demon dashed forward and sliced through the barbarians arm.
The limb fell as the man yowled in pain. Ignoring the cry the demon struck at the elf who stood dazed. The blow landed heavily on the elf's shoulder and the bone crackled. Both opponents watched in terror as the demon laughed and brought both curving swords down in a hate filled swipe. The arena flickered away. The demon player stood and watched as the other twos pain suits flickered red where ever a hit had landed. The arm and shoulder and then from throat to groin.
