A/N: Here's my first TWEWY story! YAYYYYYYY! I love TWEWY, and I just had to write this!

Headphones
It was after school on a Tuesday night. Shiki and her friend (and crush) Neku were staying late so they could make up a test that they had missed in algebra. Shiki had thought she had done fairly well, as did Neku. But as they were packing up and getting ready to go, a teacher came in and asked Neku to help clean up the hallway area outside the classroom. Neku had reluctantly agreed, after asking Shiki to wait for him so they could meet Beat and Rhyme and Ramen Don.
Now Shiki sat on top of a desk, staring at Neku's desk, which was directly next to hers. On top of the desk laid Neku's headphones and music player. Neku had stopped wearing his headphones as much after the game. He didn't use them to block people out, but to listen to music.
But now Shiki stared at them. What genres did Neku listen to? What artists did he listen to? Did he have any playlists or anything of that sort?
It was so tempting. Would Neku get angry if she picked up his headphones and listened to his music without his permission?
Maybe for one second… Shiki thought to herself. She began to lift up her hand before a voice in her mind went "No! What are you thinking? You can't touch his headphones! It's like…a rule!" Shiki quickly pulled her hand back, but continued to stare at the headphones.
Maybe Neku would be done by the time she put them back! Yes, that seemed logical! Shiki grabbed the headphones and placed them over her ears. She then picked up the music player that was attached to the headphones by a cord. Pressing the power button, Shiki anxiously waited for the player to turn on. The wait seemed perennial. Finally, the player turned on. Shiki scrolled through his list of songs. He defiantly had a lot of songs. There were many different artists as well, ranging from Evanescence to Utada Hikaru, and even some Hatsune Miku. There were many genres as well: hip hop, alternative, and even some classical music.
Suddenly, the sliding door to the classroom slid open, and there stood none other than Neku. Shiki quickly took off the headphones and music player and set them down. Neku had noticed that Shiki had been wearing them, though, so there was no point in hiding it.
"What were you doing?" Neku asked, walking into the classroom and over to Shiki.
"I was just looking…" Shiki mumbled, fiddling with her fingers. She didn't dare look up to see Neku's reaction. He was most likely mad at her because she had touched his stuff (let alone wear them) without his permission. She mentally flinched for the loud outburst Neku was going to give. Instead, she heard a quiet, almost non-audible snicker.
"You could've just asked," Neku replied, picking up the headphones and placing them back on Shiki's ears. "Besides, they look good on you."
A/N: The reason why Neku is slightly OC from the game is because after the Reapers' game, I figured he'd act a bit more friendlier to Shiki, Beat, and Rhyme. So...yeah. :)
