AN: Yay~! A fic about one of my most fav. pairing!

The purpose of this fic is just that one day I woke up and had the sudden urge to write this. Also I feel it's unfair that this pair will have a happy fic, so I wrote them a sad one.

Need more of this pair! Anyways!

Enjoy~

They are what the people call the perfect couple.

One light, one shadow.

One seen, one invisible.

One extrovert, one introvert.

They are what the people call the perfect couple.

Ever since high school, Kuroko Tetsuya was drawn to Izuki Shun.

He didn't know why. But apart of him says:

'Because he can see him.'

He's the one who would approach him whenever they had practice or when senpai was just passing by their classroom. Sometimes he gets surprise by this (though his face would never show it).

He seemed to know-to see-the emotions that he tried to hide through the mask that he placed himself as protection.

But whenever he sees him, that mask crumbles.

Despite the handsome looks and intellect, Izuki Shun never had a girlfriend. Although there are people that are confessing to him, they seem to avoid him whenever he tells a joke (if you could call his jokes a joke).

But never Kuroko Tetsuya.

Unlike the latter, he knew exactly why he's drawn to him.

Because he sees him.

Not just in literal sense. Because he sees, he feels, he understands him. That's why he cracks up a jke whenever the blunette's sad.

To his surprise. He actually laugh.

He laugh.

And it was beautiful.

It wasn't a surprise-to Seirin at least-when the senpai confessed after they won the Winter Cup. They were more like "Finally!" and "Took you long enough, idiot!" and some advice (threats) from the Generation of Miracles.

He never felt so happy in his entire life...

They are what the people call the perfect couple...

...before.

"Let's break up."

After being together for 5 years. He never thought that he will say this to the person he cared so deeply. To the person he used to love.

"Okay..."

And still love...

He shouldn't be surprise by the answer. He expected the same answer when he confessed to him.

But damn it hurts.

Have you ever woke up one day and suddenly you don't love the same person that you loved for many years?

He had.

Despite the blank stare that he'd given the other, inside he felt like dying.

Why doesn't he love him anymore?

He don't know...

(He's still searching for the answer.)

But he doesn't want to initiate the break up either. He though maybe, maybe he could still fix it. That it was just a phase, that it's normal and one day he'll wake up and he will love him again.

But it didn't happen.

It breaks him more when he's the one who bought it up. Shu-Izuki-senpai always see him, feel him and understand him. Just like now.

His hand reach up and wipes the tear that he didn't know that had fallen. Once again, his mask crumbles.

"Don't be sad...I don't want to see you sad."

He flashes him his biggest smile and cracks up a joke, which he will still laugh. Truthfully, he'd never laugh at his joke, but it makes him happy to know someone who would put effort just to hear him laugh.

Izuki then hugs him, whisper sweet words and gave him a kiss on the temple before he stands up, walks away and never looks back.

Leaving Kuroko desperately trying to stop the tears.

...Maybe they aren't perfect as the people though.
