She was always watching her from afar

She was always watching her from afar.

While she was laughing with her best friends, she would be around a corner, making sure nothing happens to her.

Homura was not only diligent in her work and sports, she's always someone everyone acknowledge even where she spoke less than a few words in school. No one can understand her, but everyone knew one thing. Her eyes would never leave Kaname Madoka.

She's afraid if her eyes were to ever leave her, Madoka would be gone in an instant. They Homura would had to watch her cheerful smile turning into despair and having to die all over again. But it's alright. There's still time. Homura could rewind the time and watch Madoka all over again.

Watch her, protect her, hoping that one day Madoka would be alive, safe and sound, happy from their cruel world.

00000000

She was always watching her from afar.

From that huge window she created, she would stand by it, her arms on the window sill as she chuckled lightly.

When Madoka was busy watching her other forms collecting despair from magical girls' soul gem, she would watch by the window and smiled. Other magical girls who had joined in Madoka's heaven would often popped their heads to see what their savior was looking at, and it's always that same girl.

"Is Kaname-san looking at the same girl again?"

"Yes. I've heard about her. From Miki-san. She's a very important person to her. The reason why we are all here, when our hope didn't become despair was partially because of that magical girl too."

"Homura-chan!" Madoka would delightfully yelled down at the window. "Don't give up! I'll always be by your side!"

And then after a while when Madoka's voice finally reached earth, Akemi Homura will give a small smile as she continued fighting with her two teammates.
