On the way across the rolling hills, Seth cam across the town of Anvil. This peaceful town seemed simply undisturbed. But then Seth heard a strange ranting coming from the Anvil church street. He left his errend to go inspect it. The guard confronted him at the chapel doors and said. "I wouldn't go in there if I were you. Or unless you have a strong stomach."

"What happened?"

The guard pursed his lips then spoke. "The chapel was attack. I've never seen anything like it."

"May I go inside."

"At your own risk."

Seth entered the chapel. He stood there looking at the imminise amount of carnage he saw. "What the…" He said to himself. He stepped forward…slowly, as not to slip on the blood. Numerous pews were knocked over, fires were abundent, bodies were everywhere, it was insane. "Vampires? No, vampires are not cabable of such an….obscene act. He look at the alter. The was blood in the pan and a dead body in the alter. Around tha alter. Then arounf were achient writings. It looked like it was written… In blood?

The holy anger of the nine burned inside of Seth, he stormed out of the chapel. Who the HELL could be responsible for this?! Seth thought. Acoss the street he saw someone ranting about the Anvil chapel attack. Seth approached him hoping to gather some information on what happened.

"What happened at the chapel?" Seth almost spat out at the prophet.

"My dear child, the chappel. Umaril has returned!"

"Who is Umaril?"

The prophet started with an intentiful gaze

"Umaril is the Alyeid king! The one we though was slain by Pelinal Whitesnake! But no, he has returend!" Seth puzzeled at this for a brief monent then continued.

"Can Umaril be stopped."

"Perhaps there is a way. The holy crusader, Pelinal Whitesnake, defeated Umiral. But little did he know that because of Umarils deadric nature, he would soon come back. Umaril was defeatd physicially, but he spirit was not destroyed. Both must be destroyed for Umaril to be killed."

"How do I become a crusader?" Seth asked without thinking

"You…" The Prophet started "..Would seek the crusaders relics?"

"YES!" Seth said without thinking again

"They have been lost for years. Many have sought them, what makes you think that you are worth enogh to seek them?"

Seth, remembering how quickly and and roughly he said he replies said "No, I seek no claim to fame." The rpopher smiled at him. "Ah, but you may be just yet." Seth looked up. "Here." The prophet handed him a map to the wayshrines of the nine. "You must pray at all the wayshrines in order to be forgiven. And if the gods deem you worthy, you will receive a sign."

Seth studies the map carefully, trying to remember where all of them were.

"I will seek out the relics and destroy Umaril!" Then Seth walked away but before he was out of earshot the prophet said "May the Eight and One guide you."

Much later…. Seth had finished praying at all the wayshirnes. "Ah…Okay no all I have to do is—" Seth was cut off by his vision going white. When HE regained his vision he had just recived the vision from the former crusader Pelinal Whitesanke. And thus, his quest for the crusader relics had begun
